@judojudo3808 I don't think that was on purpose. Also good lesson for blue. Hansoku make or not, judo is ALSO a self defense, so one should know how to protect arms. Good thing no injury this time.
@@sakurajudousa Yes it was't purpose, but it was kansetsu waza in tachi waza. And it is forbidden. Judo is sport primarly and judo has rules. If I was ref I awarded hansoku make for white judoka. And If I was ref I never could call mate at 6:53 because blue has progress in newaza and I would give her more time there. I think ref makes 2 mistakes in this match (at 3:17 and 6:53).
Why blue judoka didn't try to go on ashi gatame at 8:18-8:20? It was good opportunity. She has good separate opponent's arm between her legs. She should have just stopped her movement and hooked her left foot under her right knee (or vice versa, her right foot under her left knee) and then put effective pressure to opponent's elbow. I think white judoka would have tap out very quickly.
At 3:17 hansoku make for white judoka. It was very dangerous for blue. Rules are clearly for these situations.

@judojudo3808 bad refs are common - this is not the worst by far!

@@judojudo3808 I agree that there was an opportunity there! Good observation!
How did she escape a clock choke?
It was on the jaw, so the ref stopped it as far as I can remember.
