I show you my self-made secrurity system. I made it for a "capture the flag"-Game! The gold-block is the flag xD
I made the intro music with garage band on my iPad. So I have the rights to use it in my videos.
Great security system. Nobody can get in. Even the person that built it.

If I made this, I would literally be too lazy to go in and out so I would not even use my door and just break my way in through a wall or ceiling...
How to Break in
Step:1 Break the iron door.
Step:2 Don't go through iron, go up stairs.
Step:3 Press button go under water.
Step 4: Use Blocks to build your bridge and not get burned. P.S DONT FORGET FIRE RESISTANCE!
Step: 5 Run Through the lava hallway and keep a potion of healing. P.S Fire Resistance!
Step: 6 When your in the room... BREAK EVERYTHIGGGG!!!!! utill you find hole, then break all the pistons in the way.
Step: 7 Break the iron door (AGAIN)
Step: 8 GRAB THE STUFF IN THERE and go back the same way, or break through walls.
Step: 9 You Win!/ YOU'RE RICHHH!!!
Or just blow it all up With tnt all the way throuh...

How to Break in
Step:1 Go outside to the gold block right outside at the end of the video IM RICH oh wait gold does almost nothing
Seriously dude, this is in 1.8.1 BETA. There were no command blocks or anything then.
That means absolutely NOTHING.
This is an awful security system, it's just an obstacle course of death. A good security system would be something convenient and safe for the owner but dangerous for the intruder.

Its great and all, but it seems like a determined guy with a pickaxe could walk through everything
i remember i saw this three years ago when i first started minecraft. I built a trap pyramid with a maze and lava chambers and everything. Sure it wasnt practical but it was fun and awesome.
I like how 2000 people disliked this, me and everyone must of thought it was bad

Adventure Mode, Servers can use plugins, so, you could make it out of dirt and as long as you set it up correctly it would be fine

CoolCrafterTehBest Obsidian works too. Not to mention the darkness it emits ( tried making a maze with Obsidian and no light. Dark as fck, even with lighting. easy to get lost without proper navigation)
So you built a security system which is defeatable with a wooden pickaxe.
And one which even you fail to navigate, which fatally dunks you in lava.
A much simpler device which achieves the same effect is to build a chest next to your nemesis's home, put all your diamonds in it, and then go hug a creeper.
This reminds me of the quote from Burn Notice, about how all defense systems are a trade off between Security and Accessibility.
So secure you can't even get in there yourself
At the end there is a chest full of dirt blocks.
You would have to be on adventure mode for that to work. Without building restrictions, you could bypass the entire system with a stone (or even wooden) pickaxe.
Found this in my recommendation box.

Cod4Snipes you could set upa command block that searches for a anyone in a radius of 100 to 50 blocks to force them into adventure mode and ahave another be 110 block raduis and set thier gamemode to survival

hey u know that this is minecraft. With some diamond pickaxe and TNT players can just dig and blast through your whole top security stuff...

Granted, a redstone PIN would've been much better, but I don't think they even had repeaters then.
This is actually really cool. This must have taken a very long time to hollow out the caves and put the redstone and all that. Good job man.

Even though he knew it all, he made the video as though he was just experiencing it for the first time. Yes you can fail, yes you can be tripped up, and stuck for a long time, so I think this was genius Enough for his purposes.
All this is just a death obstacle for not only for the intruders, FOR THE OWNER!
Wow. One of thee most secure bases ive ever seen. Except for the lava base of coarce.
On some servers you can protect sections of land so that only you and players you've selected can break or place blocks in that region.
I LOVE the part where he used the hoe to till the ground so he could click on the minecart.

Its a nice security system up until you come across a lava parkour, then it's not a safe place to keep your items SAFE if you yourself can lose it ALL on a bad jump.
putting the record in the music player reminds me of some resident evil type security

I think this is awesome! It takes some time to get used to, but very creative. VERY tricky thing with the hoe! ;)
thats a great security system.... unless someone mines through the wall. I am working on a unbreakable wall without using bedrock, obsidian, or any type of ammo.

how did this end up in my recommended its 5 years old
1.) You can just break the door with a pic
2.) You can mine through the stone walls
3.) Build across the lava
4.) Break the pressure plates
5.) Break all the wool
6.) Break the stone
7.) Break the door
8.) Lever nit needed
Very cool system except for the burn to death and lose your loot most times you go home also this is not a mod defense it's a player defense and if there is other players you probably have commands to make things private also walking 25000 blocks away from spawn probably is just as effective.

The whole lava part at 1:18 is nearly an exact replica of the final part of Spyro The Dragon (the first Spyro game), right before you kill Gnasty Gnorc.

Cool, but people could easily get through it by breaking stuff. But it's still cool!
That may not be a good thing to build because it's overly complicated and you will need a lot of resources but it was entertaining to watch :P (Though taking parts of it and putting it into your base will most likely work)

Don't call it a fucking "Security" if the owner can't pass it safely. Call it a dungeon for adventurers and that'd be fine.
