I keep trying to point out to people who may not be all that familiar with a wide range of French performers, that what "strikes a chord" about a singer for the French audience does not seem to be the same exactly as for an English audience listening to the same performers. For example, Lara has never had the adulation in France that Isabelle does! They are both well known of course, but you'd have to give a definite edge to Isabelle if you were to look into it. Lara's voice is super smooth, strong and with great range, Isabelle's is softer, mellow and with a richer tone. That vibrant "rr" you said in 12:26 it's one of the "r" in Italian (the harsh "r", they have a soft "r", as well). The soft "r" in Italian it's like the way americans pronounce the "tt" in the word "better".

For me isabelle her tone is more strong ..😏 just lara soprano can sing with vibes and very resonant belting.....isabelle is not soprano..she can't do it
