I discovered kpop a few years ago thanks to TH-cam. I grew up on R&B but I do love all kinds of music except rap & country. I was really sad when I learned that the kpop groups music that I really like all had disbanded years earlier, groups like Girl's Day, T-Ara, Raindow, Kara and more. It kinda became clear to me that most of these groups disbanded because of contract issues or a desire by members to pursue other opportunities primarily in movies 🎬. This realization was a turn-off. I started to believe that many members of these groups were not in it because they love music but rather because they saw music as a step up to something else, namely movies. A few weeks ago I rediscovered Apink. I had listened to their music 🎶 before but I had no desire to learn more about it's members until recently. I was really surprised and happy when I learned that Apink was still performing and had not disbanded. I wanted to learn more. How is this possible? Why are they still together when so many other groups have disbanded? Leadership and love was the answer that I came up with. Love of music 🎶 and love of it's members. Cho rong is the engine and it's members are it's wheels that kept this car (Apink) moving forward. She has done an outstanding job and I'm sure that it was difficult. In a youtube video it was discussed the difference between being a leader and being a boss. She is a leader. A few days ago I learned that a member of Apink had left the group. Yeah I'm in the US so it takes some time to get kpop info. I was really sad to learn this. I am really sad for Cho rong. I'm disappointed that another member left for the movie 🎬 industry. I don't believe that was a wise choice but I'll save sharing that for another day. To the remaining members of Apink, I sincerely hope that you continue to find fulfillment and happiness in being in such a special relationship. To Cho rong, the past 10-12 have been challenging. You've done an amazing job. The years ahead will be even more challenging but you will overcome. Your sincerity, desire and love will see you through. Keep performing with smiles Apink.
