Man is that a great tip. I had a cyclic servo strip and had to replace it yesterday. I was trying to figure out how to get the swash plate level and this popped up today! Thank you for the assist on this!
I’m glad my video helped you. I went through the same thing and decided to upload a video. Thank you for watching. Please subscribe and watch my other videos about the Blade 360 and others.
Great way to level the swash ... by the way, can you provide me with the length of the Servo to Swash linkage as well as the Swash to Blade Grip links as I've messed it all up when I replace all 3 stripped servos trying to level them. Thanks.
Hey man hope all is well. Missed ya! Thanks 🙏 for watching my video. I watch your videos all the time too dude! This heli flies so much better with a leveled swashplate and at 0 pitch when at 50%. Take care man! ✌️
@@sawyerheslep8493 I fly 3D exclusively and like to fly within limiting spaces. I like to watch them fly but it is not something I would consider buying. I fly mostly micro helicopters because I enjoy the faster cycling response needed and the spikes in adrenaline it gives me. I really enjoy the OMPHOBBY helicopter brand for their quality and attention to detail and their precision, I also fly Blade because their Fusion line flies amazing and their parts availability locally. I will say this though, nothing flies like an OMP.
@@sawyerheslep8493 yes I have. The thing is that if I was to buy a new helicopter today, it would have to be a direct drive helicopter. I will no longer buy a geared helicopter ever again. The difference in flight is just too amazing to ignore. Goblin Raw 420 it is!
It is lighter, more efficient, better governor. Also, I have changed the ESC governor to level 3 to enable faster correction of the headspeed from the esc. It flies just perfect.
Not sure what you’re doing there. The marks would be correct on the blade grips. Pitch should not be dealt with until swash is correct height and level. Height is set by swash followers or radius arms being horizontal. This is not critical. Swash level is set your way or with a tool. It is critical. Lastly pitch is set. First zero then aileron and collective degree values.
This video was made with the intention of showing how to level the swashplate. When I make a video about how to set up and level a helicopter head assembly, I will name it “how to setup and level an RC helicopter head assembly”. I’m not sure why you are looking for what you expected to see in a video that was clearly labeled as “swashplate leveling” which is part of the process which you mentioned here. This video is about that part of the process. Titles and labels set up an expectation of what you are about to watch. That is what you saw happen here. But please feel free to start a channel and do it yourself, this way you can use your knowledge to help people. By the way, have you seen me fly? Look at my helicopters and tell me how they are set up! Can you fly like this?!!!

This is so easy to what I was trying
Im glad you enjoyed the video.
I’m glad I was able to help.
Worked for my fusion 180 smart ! just don't have the 0 pitch mark on my blade but had to sub trim thanks!
Thank you for watching.

@@protoplasmia I no longer own this helicopter. The length is listed on the manual.
Thanks man I really appreciate it!
Of course. I’m glad I was able to help.

So is this the way to correct a hover drift , by adjusting the height of a servo. It seems like it could work for that but I'm still learning.
Yes, precision is key. This process enables a perfect hovering helicopter for sure.
Have u seen the echine e200? Have u considered buying it, if so I'd like to know ur thoughts?
Is the e200 the scale heli?

How's it run on 4s?

please everyone trying this TAKE OFF the main blades before starting. DO NOT rely on the throttle cut switch.
It’s always a good idea to do that. If you can remove the tail blades, it’s even better.
