for your staff, i used to think that the potential rating meant that they would develop players potential as well, but that potential rating they have represents their own potential to have their own ratings improve. so if a coach has a b offense and c+ defense but a+ potential, he could develop into becoming a really good coach with good ratings. i believe at least.
King Dino Dragonite sros has gotten 9 90s once without changing position. He also could have traded those players and gotten 9-10 90s because they had insane trade value
A lot of ideas here: -Championship with accepting every trade -No trades -No draft Picks -No free agency -React to your old rebuilds from 2k15 and on -Championship with only 89 rating and below -Try to win a championship with only one primary position (all pg, sg, sf etc..) -A draft expansion team with the max amount protected players -A draft expansion team with the max amount of expansion teams -Championship with only players X(24) years and younger -Championship with only players X(30) years and older You can always fantasy draft for the players that fit into the challenge, then trades I'll be here in the comments

Things you should have taken into consideration while doing this: -The players potential rating doesnt change when you move their position so you should keep their position the same so they improve more on their own and keep the upgrade from moving positions to when you wanna finally count them. Example: Mitchell Robinson has a 93 potential, if you get him to a 86 year one, that potential doesnt change which means his overall will increase less every year than it would if he had to jump from his original 82 to 93. -Players are alot easier to trade for on the last year of their rookie deals. So you can exploit that to get a lot of guys like DeAaron Fox, Bam, Mitch Rob for alot smaller deals while keeping their bird rights for the following off-season -Making a pick top X protected doesnt decrease its trade value, its an easy way to exploit the system. -Staff Potential is the potential of the staff itself to improve, not how they improve the players. -The assistant GM, the trainer and the CFO are the only positions that trully matter in these rebuilds, the coach you should always get the worst possible to make your picks the most valuable possible. -Dont forget to use the g-league, it triggers me every time.

You should start doing what Kenny does and see what player , relatively cheap and not good player, a team wants, trade for them, then trade for the player, like Giannis, you want. See if it works that way
You can go to player finder search the player you have in free agency that doesn’t wanna sign for you (ex. Robinson) and offer him a deal he’ll accept unless he has other offers he prefers
If you want to offer more than one offer or offer the same person more money because he doesn’t want to sign with you in free agency go to player finder and go to contract and put free agents and you can do that. On trade deadline day if you need to trade you can got to team intel on scouting and if a team says selling they would trade anyone for the right people.
Try a 90+ overall starting lineup but no switching positions throughout the video for any player. So each player has to be natural position in the lineup.
Getting bates is litterally unfair. Just create a draff class with a bunch of 90+ overalls and draft them you would get the same thing. Bates apperantly better than almost everyone in the nba without playing basically anywhere.

Do a “No Change” rebuild. That means you can’t change a player’s position and see how many 90s you can get.
Hoodie Solak KOT4Q already did that challenge. That’s what the inspiration for this was but sros changed positions
just so you know GM potential has nothing to do with player potential or development, its solely that GMs trade and negotiation rating potential.
