We started getting the kids into the school routine a couple weeks before. That being said one of my boys was like that daily…then he went into the Marines a week after graduation, they taught him right quick how to wake up🤣🤣🤣🤣
My father was a drill sergeant in the military. You bet your ass I knew how to wake up before I reached school age.

And, that poor little kindergartner. I sacrificed everything for school, and lemme tell ya: it's not worth it. The school system is purposefully run in a way to stifle kids, so they just become depressed, immpassionate machines of society.
Got serious sleep issues I've been dealing with since at least middle school. I'm frickin' 24 now, having followed everyone else's dreams and demands but mine.
Some of the BEST people in history had little to no schooling. People like Bob Ross and Ryan Reynolds dropped out. Best I can say to anybody going through this is to have the courage to do what you feel is best for yourself, regardless of the "best" anybody else wants for you. I was people-pleasing and didn't even realize it. Screw the rat race, man.
