I used to be really underwhelmed that we never got to see more of him, but Qotsa and TCV made me grow out of it. I still hold Kurt in really high regard but now i feel like Josh made me realize that good music will never die, and that there still are incredible artists out there.

It sounds like all the pieces are yanked out before they are done, making it so epic but with a twinge of sadness, until JPJ’s guitar solo lifts us back up from the depths. Incredible.
All of Hommes work just takes me to a different place. The side of lonely, dark and dusty freeway on a soft rainy, summer night. That kind of place. This song especially.

But Dave plays with a certain technique and so much SOUL in a way I've yet to see repeated. Attempted, sure (myself included) but never repeated.
