I was front row at one of his shows in Albuquerque, he played nearly all his solos two feet from me, he handed out gifts to the crowd, he gave me a Boba Fett keychain and a ghoul mask that I will keep forever, I think he knew by my hand movements during his solos that I played guitar but I could be mistaken, what I remember most is I saw his eyes for a solid ten seconds staring at me through the mask, I fuckin love Buckethead.
Shredding or wailing, always perfect control. Awesome. I get the sense that he never makes a sound that isn't exactly what he has in his head. Great share, woo!

Idk why but Buckethead from early 2000s to around the end of 2015 is like peak bucket for me, the 90s live performances are phenomenal and all but the recordings aren’t as listenable to me, any suggestions? WHOOO 🤘🏼
@@zagrix I’ve heard it like 10 times over already and it’s not exactly the vibe I’m going for, the most melodic Bucket I’ll listen to is probably Hold Me Forever (pike 65) and Colma (ofc) and when stuff like Cuckoo Clocks, BH 1 and 2, Crime Slunk Scene, Jordan, Monsters and Robots, In Search of the Vols 1-13, 3 Foot Clearance and Albino Slug (probably missed out on more but you get the point) exist, I just find it RLLY hard to try out the new stuff/some of the old stuff, you know ?
I think 90's Buckethead is more raw and off the cuff, 2000's onwards is refined and faultless, so its whatever you prefer I guess. Some like it Raw, some liked it cooked perfectly haha Woo!!
