Like all of the greatest players that ever drew breath and Jeff was definitely in that category..his playing was a spiritual experience and it moved people...and he is still doing that very thing to this day....we all sure miss your genius Jeff...🎸🎸🎸
Always usually get emotional watchin Jeff Healey, and this one got me good. Watching the crowd sing along, knowing the struggles that Jeff would have had, yet still becoming one of the biggest baddest Bluesmen that we'll see in this lifetime... tears streaming down my face, but I know Jeff wouldn't have seen it that way cos he was a strong person who let nothing hold him back. What a guy, what a guitarist, what a musician.😎❤
I had the good fortune of meeting him after a show. What a genuine guy he was. A memory that will last a lifetime .I only wish I could have had a jam session with him. Again ,he was one hell of a guitarist . RiP Jeff.
I was at that show...right at the front in front of him...my ears rang for three days..it was such a great performance. I'm one of the two guys in the front you can see when they do that close up side shot waving our arms in testimony when he really digs in to the guitar solo
Actually determined to pay my own tribute to Jeff by playing 'See the Light' which I learned to play many years ago, but to perform it live with the guitar laid on my lap. Obviously still with my fretting hand around the back, not Jeff's technique, but it'd get lost around here S/W UK, cos unfortunately not many people 'know' around here...😒😊
The BEST of the BEST, Jeff Healey! If I could play 1/10th as good I'd be happy!

Raw free talent. Too raw on this hearing. But Jeff was the blind artist who came very close to getting no right of his own.
You live once
