I wouldn't say Daenerys strigly doesn't like men. I mean she loved Drogo and Jorah is her most trusted adviser. The thing with Dany though is she doesn't care about strong men coming to try and win her favor or fight for her. She wants people to be true to her, no matter who they are, high born or low born, man or woman, that doesn't matter to her.

Then they became "the broterhood without banners" when the 5 king war started. So in theory.. at the point in time arya and crew are, and in that geographical location... The Brotherhood is their Best bet.

I think you missed that Theon is at Winterfell. Winterfell was taken back by the Boltons the Stark Bannermen Rob sent back when Theon took Winterfell and the boys when he couldn’t.
The books infer that Podric's "prowess" that Tyrion and Bron are so curious about was just that he played and sang songs for the girls. They gave him his money back because he gave them a day off. But that would never occur to Tyrion.
