I just discovered Ghost about 4 months ago and I love them, Tobias is a musical genius.

They are a great band, not necessarily my total cup of tea but they are genuinely good at what they do

I agree. Every song is a surprise and full of hooks, whether it's doom metal or pop/rock. Tobias is truly gifted.

Even if you don't like Ghost i think as you like this specific song you should listen to Kaisarion. And one thing. Ghost is not a band. Ghost is Tobias Forge. He uses people to help him with the records and he has a live band for the concerts. But even thou this song for example is written by Tobias, Martin Persner (ex live guitarist) and Klas Åhlund (producer) the concept of the albums comes from Tobias. This song is so well written that even a christian radio station played it and people called in and asked about the beautiful song not knowing it's not about Christianity at all but the opposite.

It is a great production all around and what I like the most about is the beauty of the sound of the mix, very organic and natural yet punchy and powerful

Great reaction. Ghost had some of the best in the business record this (mixed by Andy Wallace), so no surprise about the quality. This track is also trying to mimic/mock contemporary Gospel/worship music, and if a few words were changed, could be on the Gospel charts. I'd appreciate your opinion on some of Ghost's newest songs - Spillways, Call me Little Sunshine or Griftwood.

I prefer more humble reactions. I know from my own experience how difficult it is and how much work is behind a successful career. This man has what it takes.

As someone said earlier, you should definitely give Kaisarion a try if you want to hear how Fhost can combine the catchiness of pop pink and glam rock with Rush-like prog sections!

Also, from the same album, Majesty is a darker, slower and very theatrical song that I think is a masterpiece

Love to hear your review on this! I love he is, not because it's a huge hit, but because it has soooo many layers. If you like this one, check out Respite on the Spital fields by ghost? It would be so awsome to hear you analyze it. I find it to be beautiful written and arranged. I would love to hear your view on it!! I find it to me more interesting and dramatic than He is :D

If you want slow Ghost songs, try Cirice, Life eternal or If you have ghosts. Zombie Queen is slow but changes pace (weirdly enough) in the middle of it. I've only recently discovered Ghost unfortunately but still love them. I'd still love to hear what you say about each of them. Thanks for your video.

First time seeing a reaction of yours, and obviously Ghost drew me in. I really appreciate the way you break down their song, and it is quite original. If you haven't listened to Faith by Ghost, it might be something you'd like. Have a Great day!

Glad to see you enjoyed this one. I believe their last album (Impera) is the better in terms of production and songwriting. From there I'd recommend Kaisarion (lots of layers and Iron Maiden/Rush inspiration), Spillways (great amalgamation of 70's influences and clever modulations), Griftwood (awesome Van Halen and Def Leppard-like production), and Respite on the Spitalfields (subtle nods to Whitesnake and Europe combined with great storytelling)

The vocals seam to be created with the same voice of the singer but with a delay.
