      @@MDMZ I can't seem to get Faceapp to load up an exported image from PremierePro. I have to screenshot it in my mobile phone to get it to work. Obviously that compromises quality. Have you guys had this problem?

      I didn't have such issues, try and export in different format, also try exporting from a different software? maybe use media encoder or a video player

      @@MDMZ Cheers man. Saving as a JPEG from photoshop didn't work either. However, opening the image in photoshop, vieiwng it full screen and doing a screenshot using the snipping tool seemed to work for me. Have to say it worked pretty well. I found when layering the de-aged image over the older actor that the best results were when i reduced the opacity of the de-aging. It just helped smooth over the cracks. maybe took ten years off the actors I tried it on.

    Every tutorial about ebsynth face app Aging always involves after effects too. I Wish someone would show how to do this with a free editing software too.

      Hmm After Effects was used here to export the video frames, you can do that with many other software, I'm sure you can find free options.

    Great vid and explanation... any new innovations or improvements since this was first posted 2 years ago? I'd like to do something like this for a flashback in a film I'm doing.

      Nothing major apart from speed and quality of output, there are many ways to achieve this, however all techniques still struggle when the subject isn't facing the camera, I'm still waiting for that one software that will solve that problem.

      @@MDMZ Yes, that is the problem. I have a boxing scene in a decade's old flashback. If I knew what was available or capable, I might could shoot with the limitations in mind. What about Mocha Pro Planar Tracking and Power Mesh...?

    I was thinking doing this before take every angle of images then use faceApp to turn it all younger version and use deeplabs to apply it but damn my pc is broken.😆

      Yes, same concept, beware of filters that add long hair/facial hair, weird effects start occurring

      To some degree, yes. But it will have a hard time to duplicate the correct facial expressions.

    i tried it several times...it is very realistic when your footage is of good quality(at least fullhd)...that is because faceapp exports an image with a few artifacts...absynth paints over your frames very well but again editing comes with some loss...for better results,person in the video must me still,not moving left and right or u may need to work more cutting the video in several segments...i work with vegas pro finally but when i export the last video, it is 15 frames/second although i choose 30 frames at rendering options...i dont why how to fix this unfortunately

      hi Mark, yes it does, but it's so easy to restore in any editing software just combine the new clip with the audio from your original video ;)

    can this be used for live zoom interviews? I've been discriminated against because I'm older than other applicants and so I want to de-age myself and try to do zoom interviews instead. I am skilled, healthy, smart and college-educated, yet because I'm not 20, I've been passed over for the last 2 jobs I interviewed for...help!

    Thank you so much. Thanks to this technique, I'll finally get to make a Hulk: Future Imperfect trailer (Eric Bana's face in CGI 2003 Model and A.I. Ageing of said model too, with a few characteristics with Jeff Bridges). So far, this was my first test ( th-cam.com/video/jRP-HV3UfeA/w-d-xo.html ), only used one frame per scene, tho, so, not that successful. Yet that won't stop me. Right now gathering more footage for other scenes. Once again, thank you so much.
