It takes a tremendous amount of energy to liquefy gas and even more energy to transport it since the gas has to remain at a low temperature and all LNG bulk carriers are diesel powered. At the receiving port, facilities must be available for the process of regasification - again energy is required to heat the LNG to a suitable temperature before it can be safely pumped ashore. Yes.... as they turn coal and nuclear power stations back on..
From what I remember from an article I read, it takes about 15 percent of the natural gas burning in a turbine to make the energy to liquify the natural gas. I think that they use the ocean to warm up the LNG to make it a gas again.
Correct, something ain't right with your ignorance..
LNG is a well-known technology. Building the infrastructure takes some time, and that's the major issue. Nothing else! Buy some woolen clothing, and sleep well 🍻

Sanctions are here to stay. De-industrialisation of Europe is also here to stay. Glass factories are shut in France. Aluminium and steel factories are shutting in Germany and Europe. Once shut for a long time, they are closed for good. Europe will import steel and aluminium from China and India, who will get cheaper energy. Russia can also supply through a back channel which will be arranged. Europe can import these providing it makes something else - I don't know what.
