I was there this past September and a lot of the locals did not have many nice things to say about your show. I tried to stick up for you but when they showed me the mess you had left behind I was like speechless.

@Grim Reaper obviously we can only speak from our own area of competence which is what @John Kenny has done. Head injuries are 20% of all reportable workplace injuries and 13% of non-fatal injuries. Obviously a large object hitting you directly on top of the head will have very serious consequences, but most head injuries are caused by glancing blows, and research based on mountaineering accidents indicate that a climber wearing a class I or class II helmet will survive a tangential rock strike. More workers in the USA sustain a head injury each year (c.60,000) than sustain injury to their feet (c.50,000), and around 1000 American workers die each year from a head injury. Yes you can still suffer from concussion when wearing a hard hat or bump cap, but not penetrating brain trauma and the cumulative effect of multiple, even minor, penetrating brain trauma events. When the average worker is prepared to pay five to eight times as much for work boots/shoes as for head protection it is clear that most people are not aware of the relative risks involved. Also tiaras are not recommended for head protection, though they do look cute on princesses.

You are the love/hate relationship that environmentalist have to acknowledge of what you do. Keep it up brother, you and your guys are a unique bunch.

I enjoy so very much watching you guys cleaning the environment and making a better planet for all of us. The equipment that you have been able to acquire and the sponsors that you have garnered is simply amazing! Thank you for all that you do!!
That was real neat to see all you boys having fun together cleaning up the landscape Did you ever think to bring some kindling and some wood out in the middle of that sand and roast some hot dogs ? a picnic ?That's what we used to do out in the woods or anywhere especially where you have privacy to hoot and holler and a can of beans !!!
12/16/2021 Heavy D Sparks. I have watched you guys do some incredible stuff. I have a thought for the yellow 6X6. With your engineering skill could you fab up a gin pole wench hoist at the rear of the truck or even mounted thru the bed floor and fastened below without bed floor obstruction. This is like an old time home made wrecker and other flat bed service truck. If you used 2 schedule 80 steel pipe about 20 ft each and fab an eye for a pin on each side. You can fab an eye on each pole at the top and a winch pulley wheel between the 2 pipes at the top. I had a wrecker back in the early 60's but mine was welded down with pipe tension arms Some of these type of rigs use big chains mounted somewhere under the bed for clearance. If you fab it so that the chain restraints could be lengthened you can change the angle and distance from the rear of the yellow 6X6. You will need a big bed mounted, or again under bed winch. PTO would be the best. You could store the legs under the bed for easy store and access. Now I ain't trying to tell you what you need or what to fab, Just thought from an old man who had one. A buddy had one but he used a large chain fall mounted at the top of his short pipes. Both of us used a sling type recovery and tow device. Sincerely Don .
For the adapters, if you ever need them for another go at similar shituations, a good way to make them super strong is to make an inner piece that touches the last twist in the inner lip of the rim. The outside where the beat seats, that curve inwards, if you have a piece of metal rolled to dimension and welded with flat iron spokes to the adapter, it will make the whole affair much stronger. I'd personally make it such that you can put some rubber matting from an old rubber conveyor, but steel on steel works just fine as long as it's a tight fit. That's how my brother doubled up and even tripled a few farm trucks for the areas of farm that were less buoyant for his equipment. The spokes are there just to keep things centered. Once the second rim is added and tightened on, they're not running the show anymore, the sole purpose of this "casing" is to keep the rims from flexing. If it can hold up to the weight of a fully landed sprayer with 18 meter long booms and a few tons of water, they can hold up for the truck just fine.
thats was absolutely killer the dually adapters look sick!! awesome you guys are able to help out so much, making it a better place with everything yall do! 👍🏻👍🏻
Cant wait for some huge, crazy recoveries come through from all over the country. Cause I know your not scared to attempt things others are still sitting home crying about. ⚔⚔
The only thing I'm gonna say is you gotta give your drone pilot a raise he made the video absolute crazy shots great cinematography from the drone shots give that man a raise
A fine example of having the right equipment , and knowing how to use it. And of course TEAM work. Another wise thing they had enough people to do the job safely. Thank You
The view with the water backdrop is beautiful. I never thought of these desert 🌵 scenes so nice. Love watching these big machines in action. Never really have before, powerful.
Oh so it lost another rear wheel/tire eh? Your adaptors are sticking out a bit too far on the rears. Each additional inch you stick out (regarding the gap between the tires) is a lot more axial load with no returns on LGP. You could maybe fab a larger diameter adaptor that would handle the loads better, something fitted to the inner circumference of the wheel lip would be very stout and also push any flexing into the wheel ( they are designed to flex a little compared to the hub that is NOT designed to flex at all). I need a HEMMT so bad... =)
Some Folxx also will run Dually Tires, WITH, an added Tire between the Dually Tires, that has no Rim or PSI, right between the Load Tires. It nicely fills in the Spaces between the normal dual tires to allow for a bit more surface area, & a lessening of the Normal, & Oftimes Frequent Tendencies of SINKING INTO THE GROUND, on Sandy Muddy, & GELATINOUS Soil Conditions! Some PipeLiners Types, have also been known to add an Inflated Tire Tube, in the Tire between the dual rims, when running on some of Texas's SandHills.......... ( they can tear, when spinning out, tho'........] Anything to fill in the spaces between the dual tires seems to helps! People have wrapped Blankets between the Dually Rims, to lessen the Tires cutting into soft terrain. (And Praying like Heck! That they were gonna be able to gets their A**'es UN-STUXX!) I seem to recall some of their Older OddBall Oilfields Equipment had such, It seems it was of the time frame being in the early 80's to maybe around 1989, or so? ? These ideas have some Merits & Possibilities! Used Conveyor Belts Rolls, could readily be Stowed & carried out on your Rescues Excursions? ? A pallet of Cribbing could be an Asset for some of your Rescues. . Build a 16'--20' Trailer that Flotation Tires could be swapped out, to Tow behind, to lessen the Heavy Vehicles Weights, for all the "IN CASE WE GETS STUXX, EXTRAS" you may need! Is there Such a thing as a Wide-Traxx kit for a Hemmit? Grin! I know! WISHFUL THINKINGS! Also, you guys could be Hauling behind you, A Trailer load of the old stamped Metal Aircraft Landing Field pieces, that the Military used to build Airstrips, in all condition all around the Werld, such as Mud, & Snow, & Sand, & Occasionally Damp/Wet & other Poor "TIERRA NOT FIRMA Conditions........" I also recall using the 6' tall Screw Augers for attaching a " DEADMAN ", Or use for Actual Winch ATTACHMENTS Pull Points. They can be used in series, for Heavy Pulling! YIKES! One BAD THING, I'VE SEEN TIME & TIMES AGINN! Is that Folxx So Often! Refuse to do a Lil Bits, of SHOVEL WERXX! ! And only BURY THEMSELVES FURTHER, Because they won't Dig a Dirt Ramp(s), to Lessen the HOLE, their Stuck Vehicles are Stuck in! LAZINESS ONLY MAKES IT WORSER! ! I Personally have been there, & seen it so often, by Others! Proper Prior Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance 😢!! ! Owing Big Buxx, & Favors, to Others, to get a Vehicles UnStuxx, Can be quite a Burden! Drove past The Great Salt Lake a few times. I have always wanted to spend time there. Last time we visited we were rear ended on the I-15 just North of Sandy Utah. Our van was totalled. Mom, Dad and all six of our kids were in the van. Ouch!!!!! We limped the van back to Canada... it barely made it back. Next time I come down we will definitely be spending some time at your shop and The Great Salt Lake.
When you run duals for flotation off highway, drop the pressure in the outside tire. It reduces axle and bearing stress, and would probably have kept the dual adapter from breaking. When running triples on a tractor, the outside tire is usually less that 1/3 the pressure of the inside tire. With singles you might be running 20 lbs. With triples, you might run 15 on the inside, 10 on the middle and 5 in the outer.
Isn't the Utah scenery just absolutely magnificent - I don't recall it being so lovely from my time living in SL City fifty years ago - I see now what I missed.😊

Can't get over how much i love these recovering videos lol Thanks boys for another awesome one! keep em comin.
Just when the Hemtt couldn't be any cooler you double the amount of wheels! Insane!!💯🔥🔥🔥
I think you have the most amazing crew of guys to work with! I love your videos and hope you keep doing them for years to come!
That was great, loving these recoveries y'all are doing.

Loving the content. I'm an army veteran and love seeing that your still but the equipment to work.
thats was absolutely killer the dually adapters look sick!! awesome you guys are able to help out so much, making it a better place with everything yall do! 👍🏻👍🏻
@ 9:46 "Thick and Juicy" ... LMFAO
Priceless... Dave Sparks for SecDef!!!
Cant wait for some huge, crazy recoveries come through from all over the country. Cause I know your not scared to attempt things others are still sitting home crying about. ⚔⚔
Word cus wtf was that
The only thing I'm gonna say is you gotta give your drone pilot a raise he made the video absolute crazy shots great cinematography from the drone shots give that man a raise
Yessir! And the editor/music selections as well. So pro!
A fine example of having the right equipment , and knowing how to use it. And of course TEAM work. Another wise thing they had enough people to do the job safely. Thank You
It was cool seeing you guys go and clean up and taking chances on getting stuck Only loosing only one tire great job guys. Fireman 🔥🔥🔥

The 16 wheeled HEMTT is insane! Love it! What a machine, just what a machine.
The 15 wheeled version was cool too 🤣
The thing is that HEMTT looks right with 16 wheels. It's a natural. Hope to see more of this beast.
The view with the water backdrop is beautiful. I never thought of these desert 🌵 scenes so nice. Love watching these big machines in action. Never really have before, powerful.
I got some snowrunner vibes watching the crane operation. Loved to watch this recovery
The amazing content continues! Wish i could come out and meet the gang. This crew is one of the best on YT
How nice to see an easy recovery! Fremont Island is so pretty in it's naturalness. Great job as usual!
Diesel Dave has to be my favorite character out of the whole crew🤣💪🏼
He is everyone’s favorite lol
i love what you guys do cleaning old junk up making things nice again! i also love the duelly set up on hemtt looks sick!!!

8:42 is some Mad Maxx cool looking stuff! Great job and video guys!
( they can tear, when spinning out, tho'........]
Anything to fill in the spaces between the dual tires seems to helps! People have wrapped Blankets between the Dually Rims, to lessen the Tires cutting into soft terrain. (And Praying like Heck! That they were gonna be able to gets their A**'es UN-STUXX!)
Getting Stuxx! It can REALLY Suxx!
Why don't you guys build another Adapter, that acts the same, as attaching a Board(s), to the Outer Tires, and Rims? You know: something that Helpz to lifts the Tires? ?
You could even have a Wide DUCK FOOT ATTACHMENTS, TO allow a wider footprints, on the Strap-on Devives that could Adds Traxxions & Lift?
There's Many Possible Variations that could readily be manufactured, with The Diesel Bro's Shop Capabilities! ! An AWESOME SHOP, & SHOP WERXX! !
If you guys KEEPS PLANNING ON GETTING STUCK ALL THE TIMES?! GRIN!
Add some LARGE AIR BAGS under/around the Vehicles Undersides, similar to some Military Vehicles. [ Russian BMP's, I am THINXX? )
Some OILFIELD Equipment also used to Utilize Undersides AirBags for Lifting, & Leveling. Was it Schlumberger 🤔 ?
I seem to recall some of their Older OddBall Oilfields Equipment had such, It seems it was of the time frame being in the early 80's to maybe around 1989, or so?
Also, you guys could be Hauling behind you, A Trailer load of the old stamped Metal Aircraft Landing Field pieces, that the Military used to build Airstrips, in all condition all around the Werld, such as Mud, & Snow, & Sand, & Occasionally Damp/Wet & other Poor "TIERRA NOT FIRMA Conditions........"
I also recall using the 6' tall Screw Augers for attaching a " DEADMAN ", Or use for Actual Winch ATTACHMENTS Pull Points.
Itsa Terrible Thing when you must Abandon your Ride & Possessions, because of being Stuck, or there's Nothing Around, that can Un-A** your Stuxx Ride!
Proper Prior Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance 😢!! !
Owing Big Buxx, & Favors, to Others, to get a Vehicles UnStuxx, Can be quite a Burden!
Heavy D, & Co., they definitely have GOOD THINXXINGS (Usually! GRIN! ), In their Vehicles Rescues!
Keep up the Good Werxx guys!
We do Enjoy the TV Shows, & Your TH-cam videos.
Thanxx!
Maaan I love this channel...always awesome videos along with great advice all wrapped up into a ball of humor. You guys rock man!!! 👍🇨🇦👍
2:02 another small adaptation would be to retrofit some rubber tracks, OVER the top of the dualies, to give the modified Hemmit even more float and traction.
love seeing this machinery actually put to work.
That’s awesome what you guys do! Always helping clean up , keep up the good work 🙂
Watched you for years and love all your videos. Always love seeing your military trucks. Always wanted a military truck, 'but at 71 I know I'lll never get to have one.. keep those videos coming
We are local here in Utah as well but I've never been out there.
Be cool to go riding out there.

Two more cool recoveries! Plus... making the world a cleaner place for others to enjoy!! NICE JOB!!
Such a beautiful piece of 16 wheeled machinery!!!!
Absolutely awesome drone work (like most always) and the different angle time lapse replays were cool AF! Another great vid and recovery for the books!!🤙🦅🎄⛄🎅
Did you try the number, is this a scam? The account that replied to my comment had a weird ass governors speech uploaded on it.
@@tristanlightning7212 yes its a scam, its someone using heavy d's name and pick....he mentioned it in one of his vids and confirmed its not him.....
@@tristanlightning7212 dont be an idiot. No youtuber is ever going to get a hold of u and post any phone number for u to contact them thru the comments section ever. Unless they have 10 subs then maybe they would idk.
Either way, this is a prime example of what heavy d is talking about. If u see any comments with solicitation of any kind, report it so its removed.
Lets all do our part.
Another successful clean-up! I greatly appreciate someone like you who loves natural nature.
Heck yeah the videos just keep getting better! Hell of a job on the drone shots 🤘🏼
Love your videos! This is really cool to see the earth being cleaned up 1 video at a time lol! So close to 1.5 million subs!
I wanted to see the spider... lol

This must be a scam.
Great see footage of the Great Salt Lake and the islands. Lived in the area (Evanston and Logan) for years but never made the trip out onto the lake bed. I left the area in 84 and remember seeing Saltaire flooded.
Keep up the good work it's great TV.
Nice to see you guys cleaning up the land for the next generations , keep up the good work

Love these videos!! keep them coming please! stoked to see that dually setup, looks like both of the rears didn't want to play nice and sustain but what a great idea anyways. Looking forward to the next one!

It looked like something outta a Mad Maxx movie headed across the dry lake bed! Great recovery and camera work, especiallythe drone shots!!! Well Done!
love the scenery - stunning - and another clean up done
After a long day of 16 wheels, I enjoy the content y'all put out. Thanks diesel Bros.
Great content, great channel!! Love to see what you guys do for other people and the environment!
Great recovery and clean-up! Love the all-dually HEMTT!
Great recovery guys! Love the content..tbh I'm not sure I have binge watched so much content in 1 week! Keep up the great work. God bless!

Great guys great equipment interesting to watch.
Isn't the Utah scenery just absolutely magnificent - I don't recall it being so lovely from my time living in SL City fifty years ago - I see now what I missed.😊
Love seeing these recovery videos, keep up the good work guys!
I want to see how the adapters were made for the duals!
thanks utoob, 15 minutes and 5 tries before finally seeing the content instead of cramming ad after ad down my throat, then video stopping and pushing play only restarts the ad I just watched...love the ad only version you brought me....thanks heavy d and crew! I love your content...sorry about the rant. keep up the good work D bros!!
Will do!
What an awesome recovery! Can’t wait to see the next one
Thank you for sharing your day. You made the recovery look easy.
It’s great to see someone who loves their job and has friends that love to work with you one big band of friends😊
