From a motor on a big door to this exquisite vessel. Great work dude.
Now it’s harder to get the dog back in 😂
That's the same thing I said when Timmy popped back up on my feed, mad to see how he's come along
George is such a legend! The definition of experiance and skill in a trade!!!
What a legend. That's a true crafts man. I could see the physics going through his brains
The gears were turning.
Love the storage compartment on the console well done George and Timmy
George needs a HUGE tip from you my friend 🙂 , Real nice work ..
on another note, I loved Brett's help with Filleting which speed comes with practice after you have been shown from a Legend, on the other note of Justification for taking fish.
Guys like you that then turn your frames into either soup or Crabs is the Ultimate recycling of all given that I have watched you guys catch your crabs and then release your bait at the end of the crabbing trip to feed everything in the estuary which as I said is one of the greatest uses of the entire fish as I do not know how to do the Soup yet so I am hoping to hold Mr. Brett to showing that as I am pretty sure that I am going to Lovemaking that as well.
Cheers From Garry and again thanks so much for taking the time to make such amazing content and George for making such an amazing boat.
What a legend, so good to see George again, no matter the reason.
Once again George your a legend.
So bloody good to see these great videos from you again Timmy love them.
Looking forward to your next.
Unreal work mate. Found a cracked head on a 5.8m Formosa I just bought, so whilst it's out of action waiting for a new outboard, it's time to do some work. Thanks for the inspiration on the roof. Fantastic work.
Caught this when I woke up this morning. Always a pleasure to see you, George, and your fantastic boat. Roof looks bulletproof now. Enjoy the shade. Hopefully some good saltwater fishing videos coming with your nice little dog.
What a great build, but the banter from George and Timmy is what I come for. 🤣
Amazing work guys and always a good laugh. 👍😆👍
George should be making his own content building boats could watch it for hours classic character
Tef gel for the win! im glad you listend. Im glad you take care of your new boat. hopefully it lasts a life time
George is a true professional. that is an epic boat true work of art
I know that will save the day the shade and just shelter so good to see you doing what you love again
When I see where you started from with the home made skiff to where you are now I've got to take my hat off to you . Fantastic stuff
Oh what a fisherman George is, bring on the ice slurry and he didn't even blink putting some nice eating fish into the Ice, It is beyond a joke just how many people and channels feel so obliged to release virtually everything when People from Mine and Georges era feed Family and relatives, Friends from our Hunting expeditions.
My First Nations Culture and Traditions were that some were the best Hunters and Gatherers who then looked after food to our Elders who one day we will all become and Nothing in our Culture is of a higher value than the gift of food.
On another Note what a Boat Builder and how seriously he takes his craft and looking at his amazing work my Hat is off to the Legend that is George.
Cheers From Garry in Brisbane
The problem of side to side movement is really a minor issue. The solution that George has come up with is absolutely magnificent no doubt about it. The repair will give you a successful ending and will provide you more building knowledge on future builds.
Nice to see the Certate working hard, great Reels these!
I absolutely love George and this series!
Good to see your going well Tim! from you camping at the brunz ramp ontop of ya wagon, hitting the baby GT in the river to open blue water fishing in your own boat. Well done mate enjoy the ride.
Didn't expect the fishing in this video. Excellent! Thanks Timmy.
That whole roof set up now is , to me , just beautiful
Timmy, for your remaining vibration in the roof, you could consider some temporary straps/stays hooked onto the rear corners (at the longest overhang of the roof) which get tensioned down to the stern corners/gunnels. They would be in the way for fishing, but the idea would be to just hook them up and tension them down before any long pounding drives, in or out to fishing grounds. What you would be aiming to do is to tension it up enough to take out the flex in the roof all towards the extreme of one direction, and thus dampen any movement.
With a bit of thought and and a little hardware and the right straps (no stretch) it could be a simple 30 second job to do or undo. Hope that makes sense. Tensioning down one side is essentially the same as using a rigid post to push up the other side.
You could go some sort of soft woven strap-or could do a stainless crimped cable with a quick hook and tension lever thing.
Wicked boat, and in like the repair job. Hope the next chapters for you are great ones.
@Hit me FishingWithTimmyTurtle if I only could hit you, you fake Timmy scammer.
for some reason i love this design way more than the floating roof, props
I'm not sure if this has been addressed but it seems like this lovely boat is porpoising even under moderate power. Am I wrong? Could need more forward weight to level it out.
George is a bloody champion! Where would you be without him? (as I about to post this, I just realized everyone has the same sentiment! )..
He’s proud as punch of the boat he built for ya mate, you could see that in his smile as he passed the other boat😂
Just enjoy watching your style of presenting the day. Good stuff.
I like the improvements you went for. I know they were needed, but the little extra design elements ties everything nicely together
George makes one heck of a boat would be a dream boat too own. and he don't to bad fishing either. congrats on the boat and good luck looks awesome
Love a man that stand by his product. Worth his weight in tuna.
Roof looks mint👌🏼 nice work King George!!
Ha ha ha. Good to see ya got a few fish mate. How’d the Paddle Prawns go mate. Nannie’s and stuff seem to love em. I might hook you up with a different head if I get a chance to catch up soon. Great analytical approach to the roof structure too. Looks the goods now hey. Great work the pair of ya’s. Look forward to catching up soon. 👌🏻😜🥃🥃
@Hit me FishingWithTimmyTurtle not sure what that means mate, but thanks hey. 😉👌🏻
the feeling of over taking other boats in a boat you built.. I'm surprised George's smile isn't any bigger super impressed with the boat
can't wait for all your up and coming content mate.. living in nq you will have the chance for alot of good footage...I told the misses you will be the best rated TH-camr in Australia in the next few years..uppa brotha 🤙
After years of fishing out of a center console with a roof, put foam padding on the uprights in swell they can give you a fare whack.
That’s a good tradie right there. Good work George 👍🏽
Can’t wait to see this weapon out on the water
You can tell George was covering himself with his explanations of the cracking and going OTT with the repairs, and good for him, but we all know who was on the tools when "we probably ground a bit much off the join's" happened. Bloody Turtle, ah well at least she's a sick rig now. Hope you had a great Christmas and New Year lads! 🤙🏼🎣🚤🐢
Nice looking boat mate, solid work for the man. How much boat like this mate? All in all ready to gooooo
Sick solid boat- always lookforward to your posts👍🏽keep em coming .
Good to see gorge injoying the boat nice boat tim lookin smick
Daam! Those roof mods are SICK!
The GRAB rails are Money. I think its even better than before!
One day I'll have boat like that!
Nice boat 🚤 you are living a good life 😊
"Just put your tip in"
~TImmy
The only thing I would have done different on the boat is sound deadener on the inside of the hull before closing it up. Awesome boat makes me wish I had the money to get George to build me one.
Sound deadener on the underside of the floor maybe to
Beautiful Work
Aluminium and its try axial stresses,George does great work😊
It cracked when you hit that dugong! 👍
Eu não entendo nada que vcs falam mas de uma coisa entendo é maravilhoso o mundo náutico e pescar é muito bom tão bom que até o dog vibra com a turma na hora que puxa o peixe. Show gosto muito de pescar tanto embarcada.
Tef Gel is good shit used it at work on project saved thousands in cost of bolts and time bought some for home now good stuff
swam off like a dream mate
Can never have too many grab handles. But that cross bar in the middle would annoy the hell out of me being right on eye level whilst sitting
He is a master craftsman!
Nice work 🤙
Good man , George
Cracker vessel mate. A long way from the home made punt. Very noice!
Awesome boat
Timmy, when I grow up I want a boat just like yours.
Old George feeding it straight up 🤣
Can’t be the only one nervous for you hands ….. the turtle is back
Mate I fucken love this bloke! fully Turtlefied now brus! looks even better👌
In the USA that fish at the end was a Cobia they are absolutely delicious to eat.
A video on that other boat in the background would be a great watch as well
How goods Georgie boy!!! Nice video guys🤙🏼
George put the shelving up there for his darts.(smokes for non Aussies) 😂😂
What cut off wheel you using on that grinder, is it a US made Millner diamond disc?
4:00 So for how many years running did this guy win "Personality of the Year" award? LOL
What do you think george? About? About everything? Roofs holding up good 😂
Timmy coming through with the goods :P
Loving the vids at the moment keep it up
Gotta love skliled tradies 👍🏻
Timmy: it's big it's big
George: it's big? Ok
George is ripping the head off his fish before he even gets them in the boat definitely trying to secure the feed 😂
Beautiful
Roof gang on top hope you see this goldy locks😂
George : “Noice!”

Holy shit, it's Ozzy kevin costner!
get some dagom pliers handy!
I want one of George’s boats.
Ripper boat upgrade as well , negative to a positive
Where can I order a boat like this one ?
Awesome content your a legend
Excellent tip for the wire joiners mate. Thanks for sharing.
Timmy! What's with cheering for dropping that cobia? Have you gotten spoilt on redfish up there?
How's George's hook set! 😂🤣 doesn't muck around aye
Practice does not make perfect. The 'right' practice makes perfect.🐡🐠🐟🐬🍤
SICK!!!!!!!!!!!!
Aluminum boats will always crack welds. there is no perfect medium. boats, trailers, frames....doesn't matter. If it's high stress it is always going to crack, you just do the repairs as needed. Fiberglass, steel doesn't matter they all require maintenance. make sure you have at least two good bilge pumps and don't neglect inspecting the bilge.
Old mate it pretty clear there will be zero sideways movement alot hahahaha!..
How nice is old mates 80 series though
Timmy I'm gonna buy you a net or a gaff because you're makin me nervous!
The new roof is looking sexy as
Great work
Never twist wire in a crimp Timmy knife edge on knife edge, parallel strands in a crimp are ideal.
I little grease go's a long way to keep out corrosion in a salty environment. It is great in trailer plugs aswell.
@@xuejiaoxu6778 It's not about grease and corrosion, its about melding copper into a cold weld.
George is a champion. Happy New Year🍻
TIMMY WHERE'S THE BLOODY PATREON
I feel like George wasn’t happy with your boatsmanship Turtle.
Awesome roof that one! Sick fishing too
