I have noticed that on size AS and bigger, the two tabs (not sure this is the right term) that go in the two slots on the toolholder are somewhat longer at the top, with rounded (semi-spherical) tops. I am guessing this makes it easier to guide the toolholder when inserting it onto the toolpost. I wonder why size Aa doesn't come with this feature? Most other manufacturers (e.g. Paulimot etc) also don't have these "ball tops", but I think AXA does. Unlike other things (using better materials or improving production accuracy), adding this feature would probably be super cheap, so I'm just curious what's the reason?
Hello, thanks for the interesting question. No producer has this "ball tops" for the size Aa and unfortunatelly "would probably be super cheap" is not the reality, the opposite is the case.............. I checked it already.
@@pewetools9078 I see. Well, I suppose it doesn't make much difference. In all of your videos, the holders seem to slip on effortlessly. I got a set from Paulimot, and I can only insert the holders with a bit of wiggling and pushing - both the extra holders I ordered, and the ones that were in the set box. Since it's my first Multifix, I was wondering if this is normal, but after watching your videos I am sure it's not. Even in your comparison videos with 14 different samples, including various Chinese-made ones, they all seem to slip on easily (even if they are not interchangeable). Maybe I just got a dud set from Paulimot, but I will be sending it back. Would rather pay extra that to be frustrated - made an order on your webshop yesterday. Too bad you don't have enough stock of the Aad1250/Aah1250 holders.
I have recently bought the A size system for my Warco WM250v lathe, the tool post and holders are very impressive, superb quality items, i could do with another set of four holders for my other tooling.

Vielleicht können Sie noch ein etwas allgemeineres Video zur Benutzung erstellen, das die verschiedenen Einstellmöglichkeiten und Vorteile gegenüber anderen Systemen beschreibt. Die meisten Dinge kann man aus den anderen Videos zwar zwischen den Zeilen herauslesen, aber ich würde mich über ein ganz allgemeines Video zu den Vor- (und Nach-?)teilen des Multifixsystems und der grundlegenden (und fortgeschrittenen?) Bedienung freuen. Ich überlege nämlich, ihr System einmal zu testen, bin aber gerade Gestern erst darauf gestoßen und das würde meiner Recherche sicher noch einmal etwas weiter helfen. Danke.
Hallo, immer dann, wenn man Produkte direkt miteinander vergleicht, stellt der Gesetzger sehr hohe Hürden dafür auf, die im UWG geregelt sind. Nachdem ich sämtliche Produkte des Marktes besitze, kann ich aber guten Gewissens sagen, dass es den Anschein hat, dass ich der einzige bin, der das System weiterentwickelt hat.
