Speaking of in-house MTV Animation. The letters to Santa butt-head segments in the second B&B Christmas special or so was done by MTV Animation with digital inking, painting, and compositing by USAnimation

Juuuust getting around to this, playa..hadda be the right time.🤡 This is so feckin’ wholesome..you’re giving your guests an opportunity to shine in a light that they as well as your viewers have not previously witnessed altogether. We’ve never had an outlet like this to understand the deeper meanings behind all of this..and that’s where you come in, Sean. You’re a lighthouse movement providing the conversation that is mostly based around your entire life where you explain to your guests & listeners “This is where you come in”. Your guests are so delighted to tell you all about it and don’t you know they know..that you know.😉 I can totally see Her & her son hanging out at a gig like harshfest as guests of honor. The 95 Christmas special was originally a hour with the letters to Santa butthead segments. I sent a tape recently to derek plut including the original broadcast with commercials. That tape also has the complete premiere airing of the halloween special which includes a commercial for writing letters to Santa butthead. The Christmas special is now a half hour on repeats with the letters to Santa butthead segments taken out.
Yvette is the coolest. Everything she touches becomes gold. Great interview, Sean. I love how each episode your camera quality gets worst btw 😂

If you do a Part 2, ask Yvette if she still has her animation cel from Do America and if she can show. On the DVD, there is a bonus commentary feature with just Mike Judge and Yvette talking during the whole movie. Towards the end, Yvette asks Mike if he has his animation cel, to which he acts surprised and says no, and she said she got one. I know there was a limited edition hand painted version released to the public of them on a bed with girls with a disco 1970s theme, but I don't know if Yvette got that one or an original from the film.

Citizen Butt-head was delayed. MTV ran promos for it, but it aired later than the date they originally promised.
Had to look up the picture disk for the Ozzy song, was this really only meant for radio stations to spin? The artwork is amazing, their attention to detail with promo stuff not even meant for broad circulation is great!
Really digging the show, too. You can absolutely tell each episode comes from a genuine place. I don’t think I ever would’ve noticed the different arm lengths in the earlier episodes, either. Killer episode, thanks for the upload!
did they edit the citizen butthead episode? i just watched it and butthead talked about flying over a country with a megaphone saying "im the president of the united states, the best country in the world."
