Ulysses was one of the strongest typhoons the Philippines had to face this year. It left hundreds of families homeless, and caused other severe casualties. Baliuag Bulacan, a city close to where I live now, was one of the most affected areas. Here is a quick docu-video of our small effort to help the people in need.

For me, I will never get used to seeing people suffer, especially my fellow Filipino countrymen. This is a deep rooted problem in our country. And the root cause of this is lack of free education and of course, corruption.

The man at 0:52 and 1:53 and 10:20 is my nephew Russell De Ocampo, a pastor in the Philippines. He and his friends pooled some of their own funds to offer a little help to these poor people adversely affected by the most recent flooding.
