What is Christ Kirk?
Christ Kirk is a church in Moscow, Idaho.
I believe "kirk" is a shorter form of "church" in Scottish or Irish.
Doug had mentioned it some time ago as to the reason. Something to do with needing a physically shorter word to fit on a website, I think...
Todd is correct - Christ Church is located in Moscow, ID. "Kirk" is used as a handle/domain name online.
Just a caveat. People have rights. Proprietors have rights. I'm not so sure corporations have rights. They are in fact legal fictions created (allegedly) to benefit society and limit liability. They are in actually made to avoid responsibility and amass wealth and power. By creating this legal fiction, the "owner" or "shareholders" are not allowed to use the corporate funds for just any purpose. This would be "embezzlement." Do you see the problem? They legally don't "own" the property as evidenced by the fact that they cannot dispose of the wealth at their own discretion. Corporations were never made to exist as a sphere of authority. Now, we are in actually ruled by monopolistic corporate fascists, conglomerates that "own" both real estate and the political systems of the world. Personally, I can find no respect for corporate "rights". We will soon lose this nation if we cannot rein in these corporations that can end-run violate the Christ-granted rights of Mankind, including those constitutionally recognized ones (Caesar is De Facto the People and their contract-bound Public Servants). Wicked ways make lines blur.
The forgotten duty is to follow Christ Jesus and spread the gospel according to the Father's word, not make up stories to tell on weekly occasions!
