Wow. Wow. Wow. I just heard this song for the first time today. It hit me hard. My wife of 45 years passed away suddenly three weeks ago. Many people have expressed their condolences, and bless their hearts, but the words that they have shared are difficult to come by. Pretty much everyone has simply said "I'm so sorry for your loss.." I do appreciate that, but the words of this song are so much more powerful and comforting. This is what I needed to hear. Yes, I need healing, and the Great Physician is there to heal me, and that's what this song is all about.
I am so sorry Bob. Circumstances don't always change. But like the three Hebrew Boys in the fire , and Daniel in the lions den our God is with us in the midst of the trial. I too almost eight years ago lost my wife. And in the midst of the grief God is there. Death is not permanent. One day all the dead in Christ shall rise and we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them to meet the Lord in the air and thus we shall ever be with the Lord . Be comforted with these words. Because Jesus rose they will rise too and we shall see them all again.

@@johnutley2132 It's interesting that you mention that God has a plan for me, since I have been focusing on Jeremiah 29:11 since this happened. My life has turned upside-down, and I asked myself "What do I do now? Where do I go from here?" And I remembered what Jeremiah 29:11 says - "For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." So, rather than wallowing in my grief, I realize that I have hope. I realize that I have a future. God has not yet revealed what that future is, what His plans for me are, but He will reveal all of that in His perfect timing. In the meantime, I am focusing on Isaiah 40:31 - "Those who wait upon the Lord will have their strength renewed." So, that's what I am doing right now, waiting upon the Lord.

Praying for my husband of 27 years. We have had a good marriage. He is in tremendous pain and depressed. He has fallen away from God and uses other substances to ease pain. I was once an addict and I know that if you keep praying for them as well God will intervene and do something like in my case I went to church with a bottle of mikes hard liquor I hand it to a lady I trusted and she gave it to her pastor they went and prayed over it and the message on that Sunday was the gifts for the temple and the pastor said if your best gift was mines hard liquor lemonade and from that day I been sober from drugs and alcohol for 10 years and this year is gonna be 11 years it’s nothing we c add n say oh yeah I’ll quit drinking it’s a disease know that and it’s up to them both to get help but I’m telling you hide all your valuables and money ok I’ll pray for you
You can only do so much for people. Prayer is helpful of course. We can’t make people change although we’d sometimes love to be able to take the addiction away. Please be gentle with yourself.

This song!! I so needed to hear this song this morning. My husband's mother is dying from cancer. She has been fighting for 27 years! She's had periods of remission..but it always comes back. Now it is in her lungs and bones. I just pray for a miracle.. at the same time my own mother also has cancer. She is a breast cancer survivor and it is back, in her lung and shoulder! I do believe in miracles! Jesus healed my son from a deadly disease as a baby, so I know that He can heal. But I also know that He can also stop the pain and bring someone home that has fought hard .. I pray for His perfect plan and for His amazing grace!

Scanning these comments. So humbling. My wife has reached 1 year sober... much healing has happened and still needed l. To mark the occasion I have had some of these lyrics tattooed on my arm. Because God is my strength and when I cling onto him all things are possible.
I sung this song 2 years ago in the hospital asa praise to God to heal me in Jesus name when they brought me up to ICU and told me they may have to put me on the ventilator per Covid. I sung it over and over crying and praising God. I asked Christian’s in TikTok to pray for me and they did and I felt their prayer went through my veins and up to God and through me again. I did that for hours singing that song crying to God over and over until I feel asleep.
The next day the doctors were shock my oxygen was no longer going down it went from 45 - 85 and kept going up 🆙 🙌🏽 the doctors said good news we no longer have to put you on the ventilator. We are taking you out of here into a regular room I cried tears of joy and said thank you God thank you God like non-stop😭😭😭 I’m alive because of the grace of God and love that this song made it possible for me to seek God to help me 🥲🥲🥲🥲

I had an extremely toxic childhood which rooted into my adult life. Rapes from 9yrs old through adulthood, leading into escorting, drug and alcohol addiction, struggles with trust, self worth, purpose, bitterness,resentment,isolation,suicidal tendencies, hating God, hating others, hating myself, hating authority. Never feeling like God , or anyone for that matter,ever loved me-including myself. I was finally saved 6 years ago this coming May. It's a long hard healing process. I started a Celebrate Recovery step study last night and revealed things that I never have before.... as did He. All the pain and torment, the torture I endured for 35 years, He is about to use it all for His glory!! I realize that there is ALWAYS purpose in the pain. Please pray for me and for my story to bring those out there like me to His light! This song truly does give me hope again....

I’m praying this over my daughter who has cancerous melanoma in her brain. The lesions are growing and complicating radiation treatment. But nothing is too difficult for our God! I want you all to know that Jesus drove ALL the cancer out of Casey’s body and brain. Now, two years later she’s still cancer free!! The road hasn’t been easy but I have a plaque that says “Faith doesn’t make things easy, it makes things possible.”

I first heard this song a couple of months ago while my youngest, who was born at 30 weeks gestation, was in the NICU. It became my anthem, I'd play it on the way home from the NICU almost every day, it gave me hope, it gave me strength. As of today, we've been home from the NICU for 14days. God is so good ❤

I'm listening to this song and reading all the prayers. I wish I had someone to pray for me. My boss is mistreating me because I spoke up for others. People who I thought were my friends were not. I suffer from PTSD and depression as a veteran and have nobody to talk to not even my family. I thought Jesus would be all I need but I feel like he's not listening and I surrounded by darkness.💔
Just remember whenever the enemy tries to make you feel helpless and hopeless he is lying. It's what he does. But you are a CHILD OF GOD and can conquer the enemy. He has the power you give him but you have the authority of the Almighty God. What your boss is doing is wrong - and the people you thought were your friends are people to stay away from - be kind but not a pushover. Just keep repeating to yourself you know God has this and will get you thru this. He will always protect His children even if it feels lonely He is there
