Interesting, I went to your website and then checked out your TH-cam... now I'll go to Patreon. It's giving Tuesday. I want more people to know your work too.
@@carolsenavitis8411 Carol!!! thank you so much for all of this. It’s always important to me to carry Asbury Park around with me no matter where I go, and you represent that pretty much more than anybody. Thank you so much, I really appreciate it!
OT, but are you totally 100% in on making movies or do you still writing for future plays/theater? Do you ever plug an electric, click on Fuzz pedal, and wail away for a few minutes?
Honestly, I never used any pedals, I was more of a clean jazz player. More of a Wes Montgomery/George Benson sound. When George Benson was playing real jazz. :-) And I am totally 100% in with my filmmaking, but I will always also work in the theater for sure. I’m currently working on a new feature film that is about someone who is working in the theater, so I will be incorporating both in this project, it’s really ambitious, I’m in the process of getting all the details together to have the theater space to shoot some of the scenes for this filming, so stay tuned, but theatre is kind of the foundation of everything that I do.
@@RockWILK Ah. I guess my direct question is that (you know what I'm working on) doing every single thing yourself in the video/film world it's very exhausting. I have not picked up my lap steel in 9 months. I'm wondering if that's the just the way it is (at least for the average person) or if it's just me. That's why I was asking about you writing/performing plays and also playing music, along with filming: like could juggle doing several or all the aforementioned at once? I am finding there is physical and mental room for just one thing.
@ all I can say is that from my experience of being a solo theater artist for many years, and from being in the music business before that, and then making films, I have learned to never rely on anyone for anything. I can definitely always figure out how to do everything myself. Exhausting? Sometimes, but not until I’m done. :-)
I’m thinking you’ll never hear those words come out of my mouth. Lol …but secretly I wish everyone would do that. :-) from the moment I got monetized, suddenly my views are way down, other than my film, and I noticed that on this video I didn’t see one ad. So that’s kind of weird, but I’m not gonna let TH-cam destroy my mind. :-)
