New career in a new town is a masterpiece , so full of hope, optimisim ,and new beginnings. One of my top go to listens, ever.
It's my favorite Bowie album too! And I would go as far as recommending it to new listeners, at least it made sense to me on the first listen (an experience I hadn't had with the earlier Bowie records, though I've grown to like them now too).
I liked it first listen but it took about 4 for me to appreciate it fully
I like the way you split Bowie's career into three! The "Ziggy era" is by far my favorite, and I have to say I prefer 'Heroes' over 'Low', but I can definitely appreciate 'Low' for what it is. 'Speed Of Life' is just bliss!
Omg this is a great channel! You speak about music with such knowledge and passion!
Baby knows the Truth
Low is my favourite Bowie LP especially side 2 (Incidentally Nick Lowe took out an ep called Bowi which I think he took out jokingly in answer to Bowies Low)
I read about Lowe's Bowi EP, that's Hillarious!
A New Career in a New Town went on all my mixtapes back in the day.
'What in the world' was made for Iggy/ the Idiot prior..
Tony Viscontis first Bowie production was ''David Bowie 1969(Space Oddity)'' Aswell as the next album The Man Who Sold The World. While Ken Scott took over the producer role in Hunky Dory and the next 3 albums.
You're right, for some reason I thought Visconti did a few records with Bowie before Young Americans. Thanks!
listened to the album after your recommendation. Pretty amazing!
Amazing! I've got the rare clear-gold version!😻
What a great Chanel!
I can't add anything... you said it all..
Nice cat

Me convenciste , voy a escuchar el station to station
Excellente disco, no te va a decepcionar.
sucha nice cat. i will try those instrumentals a little closer. sounds like theres alot there
I'm A Big STATIONTOSTATION Fan, But YOUNGAMERICANS Was Definitely The Prelude To STATION - And There Is A Much For Focused SOUL MUSIC Sound On AMERICANS Where As STATION Is Quasi Rock And Avant Garde Perse.
Warsawa you were close. Try Warshawa. Or should I say Varshava to make it easier.
Why Low profile?
