16:15 completly agree with Robin here. The face that Sip and Sean keep giving Satt excuses is starting to piss me off. It's HIS offense. He's the architect. He designs the plays. Do they think his only job is calling the plays???
I'm def with Robin on his assessment. I mean come on, there's not a good excuse for this kind of loss. If you spend this kind of money and you don't get the results, then it's time to consider necessary changes.
I’m so tired of hearing he doesn’t have the weapons. It’s so pathetic to say that about Satterfield. He has a 5 star QB, an All-ACC receiver, a 4 star running back and Minnesota OPOY, Carter Nelson who is a freak, a former Top ranked TE, a veteran offensive line…but he doesn’t have anything? No. The offense stinks. It has been the entire time he’s been here and last year was the time to give him a pass. This year they’re worse. Being a Satt apologist is so embarrassing.
I like a lot of what Dylan brings to the game. A big problem, if he can't or won't run for three yard gains when they are right in front of him, it becomes a true 11 on 10 situation.
It’s hard to get a good offensive line push when the box is stacked. I may be wrong the math doesn’t support 5 vs 6/7. The online is giving Dylan plenty of time to throw but the wide receivers have to improve.
He was literally our best blocking WR last year. If he doesn’t play in 4 games this year then I’d actually consider that as coaching malpractice. He doesn’t even need to make a catch. Just put him him out there to block
I’ve been thinking this as well and have been wondering why all the heat is on one guy. WR room is talented but they aren’t being coached/utilized. They should be taking the tops off some of these defenses.
Pre snap motion with Barney and Lloyd as identifier for Dylan and to open up banks and neyor more. Maybe settle on ball carrier so they can get warm (emmitt johnson). 2 backs in backfield with rahmir as a pass threat. The most important thing is simplifying this system for the kids so they have confidence. We play to limit our errors instead of exploiting the opponents weaknesses and never take what the d gives them. Get Dylan into a better flow in the beginning with little boot legs etc.
Run sets with two running backs. Heinrich has one, one of the other running backs as the other. Basically move Heinrich around on the field, regardless of whether or not he gets the ball so that he’s more of a wrinkle and it’s less transparent when he’s going to run the ball. Run an option where Dillon pitches it to Heinrich and he has the option to drop back and pass it to one of the receivers who are leaking out. Some form of creativity would be nice lol
I believe the roster has the ability to do more, the question is how do you get more from them, I will say Satterfield plays very safe throughout the game, he needs to let the offense start running downfield, if you don't back the defense off, you can expect to ruin into a brick wall and get through, it's time to allow Harberg run the goalline offense to allow for more dynamic opportunities, and why do we never throw the fade when we are in the red zone, send when you have guys that are 6' 4" we would have a height advantage
Rhule needs to change his philosophy on transfers - only bring in transfers that have had several seasons of productivity. Coach Cig brought in Justice Ellison who had three straight 500+ yard seasons at wake forest. Dowdell did nothing at oregon.
Everything was basically exactly what we predicted the year would be like until last SAT. That threw a massive wrench in everything. Now we have to question if this staff is even capable of getting it done at all because there was no excuse for what happened.
Feels like a sinking ship on offense and sounds like 2 coaches, OC and DC got out schemed again. This not looking good and so Huskers fan are sitting here hoping for 6 wins again.
I think it would be better for an 10-2 illinois team to go to a non-playoff bowl and end the season on a positive note at 11-2. Sometimes you don't want to go in and play at Texas round one.
Big 10 coaches have picked up that Dylan has a tendency to stare his primary recievers down. Now.....he is good at checking down and not throwing to a covered guy most of the time. Our receivers are not getting off press coverage and Dylan hasnt yet found Fidone and Nelson on a consistent basis......thats one problem. The other, Eric Chanander is back coaching the defense because our corners are, once again, playing 10-12 yards off the line and opposing quarterbacks are taking advantage of this ridiculous secondary scheme.
I'm glad to see someone state this. I'm not sure who is afraid to have Raiola open up...the coaches or is it Raiola . You have a 5 star QB for what??? I know he's a true freshman but at some point he's gonna have to throw the ball down field. This has been a horrible learning experience for Raiola. He's not learning or growing here.
Like up under center and run a pro style offense. 2 back set with emmet and rahmir. Play action to fidone. This shotgun stuff is doing nothing. What do you have to lose at this point?
Receivers can’t block on the permiter, can’t get open on any pass plays. Running backs have become non existent in just a matter of a year and our TE’s have been nowhere to be found the last 1.5 years. Satterfield, McGuire, and Barthels seat has got to be getting hot.
That loss feels like the end of the season. It changes the narrative to become completely negative .The regression since the Colorsdo game is staggering. 6 wins and a bowl game is still a putrid goal - Nebraska needs wins against Wisconsin and Iowa for the psyche and trajectory of the program.
This is how I would fix the run game! Run Ramair or Emmett for 5 or more than make Dowell pick up the rest and then play action or findon over the middle even though he is slow ass hell😅😅😅😅
I love listening to you guys and love what you do, but we need to stop being so forgiving with Satterfield. He has plenty of players to work with, and the offense is somehow less than the sum of its parts. Fans are right to be questioning his job
Indiana gets a new coach, less money, less facilities, less everything and is 7-0 and waxed our britches. How are we denying a curse? Because it’s too hard to get your head around or too weird to accept. The green cloud came in game one with Frost and we’ve lost more one score games in the most painful manner possible. It’s statistically impossible. We need to face the ju ju and shake it.
This game is not: A talent issue Nor an execution issue It is a philosophy issue. The BIG 10 is not a mini NFL. Pro style offense is not the way to succeed. Spread concepts are a must. Satterfield has never been an above average coordinator AND we have a philosophy issue.
Have a large number of fr and rs fr lineman that hopefully can contribute in a next yr...actually good o and d linemen in portal are rare, and jucos power 4 ready are rare
Satterfield has never been good anywhere he’s been. You guys are making excuses for a man who now has new offensive personnel including a very capable QB and the offense looks EXACTLY the same as last year. You have to ask yourself why that is? Play calling is predictable and has no rhythm or creativity. You’ve got two WR who have gotten worse at Nebraska then they were at their previous schools, why is that? Why don’t we get our TE’s the ball more? It took him this long to get Fidone involved and we’ve got Carter Nelson just sitting on the sidelines. Put your best players on the field and the ones that don’t wanna block or do their jobs can take a seat. This isn’t rocket science.
@@drn13355 uh we watched him tweak his ankle and his throws the past 2 games have not been anywhere close to what they have been previously. I don’t want Wilson anymore. He’s been annoying since the season started with clickbait nonsense.

This type of play has gone on across 3 or 4 coaching staffs. This is a structural problem needs a structural answer. We need to go to a smaller conference
No one hates Nebraska more than their own fans. Stuff is hilarious. It is like the fans forget NU is the only DI team who has;t made a 6 win bowl game since 2016. If they make a bowl..even the Pop Tart bowl..it is improvement over the big ten bottom feeders they have been.

I watch this show too much. Was in Council Bluffs and the car in front of me had a Larson sticker. I shouted HEY it's Larson Motors. Thanks Sipple.
If we are throwing the ball 45 times, Fidone and Nelson should each have 8-9 catches a game carving up the middle.
If Nebraska would actually commit to the run game with 12 personnel I think people would be surprised.
Definitely, I formation too. Or run a few series with Heinrich in the option game.
Can we show our receivers the Kenny Bell block to show them how they need to be playing
