How to fish for the Spotted Grunter PART 1/3

We had a awesome trip to the Breede,
I targeted some Spotted Grunter and shared my knowledge around my view on it,
There is a lot of talk in this video, but things i have to share that will help you target these fish.. very exciting bits to come in the following videos where i caught another 8 Grunters and played around with some Rapalas, Paddletails and Surface lures.

Good morning, enjoy your videos. Have you caught grunter in Knysna Lagoon. I am told that they are sensitive to a sinker on a line and that it scares them, what are your thoughts, rgds Chris
i've never fished there, but guess all grunters are sensitive.. thats a sliding sinker and a nr4 circle hook onto 1m 3.5kg line..so its still really light. At the right spot ill remove the sinker, but at this spot i needed to cast around 40m

Hi victor I just wanna ask are you using a normal sliding sinker trace and when fishing for theses grunters is there also a lot of pekkers in between and the a last question how long does it take for the bite ?
Well done. We all had a chance to learn light estuary fishing from you. We done on 5lb trace. Was it floro or mono?
Hi normal mono, but you can use flouro.. I just think on the mud banks the water is dirty anyway..

What was the leader you used and how long was it?
I just used normal 4.1kg Sufix Synergy.. Its clear, thin and really soft and works for me👌
You can use from 3kg Flourocarbon and up to around 6kg, but you pay around R80 to R200 for a spool of 20 to 50meters. The synergy was under R100 and 600meters😁
