My wife and I have been married 45 years and we enjoy boating in our '23 Montauk 170, nearly identical to yours, as much as we did our 16' Glasply as when were newlyweds. We've had two boats in between; the planning, the preparation for the day cruises, the enjoyment and the companionship keep our marriage a strong and fresh as the day we tied the knot. We raised two kids and love taking our grandkids on the Montauk. BTW, our dog loves sitting on the bow of our Montauk with face in the wind. Boating is the best family sport ever! The Montauk is the best boat ever!

You should consider taking a couple fishing rods, the fishing is great where you are!
