Hi Christina,wow what a beautiful lot of clothes you bought at the doll show, I thought your dresses my guess was Swiss silk my daughter had one my friend made for her expensive too back then 1987' not that old really but so gorgeous/& light I used to put pink petticoat under it ..your Swiss cotton is my favourite along with your hand knits so lovely..your little dress with some stains on it try vanish white with some lemon juice.& the sun will do the rest ..lucky babies having some extra special clothes.oh & your last bonnet looked like it was cream by the colour of the ribbon it was beautiful as well the pattern was unusual.👍💖💟❤️🍼xxoo

Steep it in hot water with oxyclean don't bleach it , unless you use the ace bleach ( or the Australian version of ace its American and UK. especially for clothing . But I wash mine and my sons christening robes every now and again to freshen them and I used Whizz which is a cheep version of oxyclean and it worked really well . Be very gentle with vintage especially if there is lace on them . And don't forget some of your items will actually be cream and not white .
I was born in 1980 and most of those things look like what my mom has pictures of me in. And the tags look the same as the tags in my old baby clothes.

I love your Saskia! She's the best rendition of her that I've seen. She looks just like a baby with the expression, should look. Her coloring (so delicate). Her eyes, beautiful. She's probably bald from what I can see, perfect! You got some really cute things in your haul. That first dress (the one that's got yellowing happening to it), is so sweet. Even the coloring makes it look like a softer off color. If you want to whiten it, try Oxyclean for whites.

You can get some shout and it will take the yellow right out of the gown
