I’m kind of disappointed that Sweden was unable to replicate the epicness of this performance in Liverpool due to the technical limitations, but happy that she won, it was so well deserved. This will ALWAYS be the definitive version of this song: the camera work, lighting and display are God Tier. Plus she is feeling it and hurting with the sadness of the words, and loving it. At Eurovision it was ruined: the production looked cheap, there was bad camera work, the mood lighting was non existent, and she was stressed because she knew all of the above took away from her vision, because of the stage limitations in Liverpool. I'll watch this version till the day I die. Its a masterpiece

I feel the same. Generic song, through and through. Got so bored in the middle that I had to fight the urge to skip to the end to hear the obvious build-up.
That performance was perfect on every aspect, especially staging's complexity (upper led screen cinematic animations) + camera angles (transition at 1:50 is spectacular, way more impactful than in Eurovision). If she had the opportunity to identically replicate this, of course the televote would have been better. Maybe not first place, but at least 280-290 points (so 40-50 more). Now, i remember why i was blown away first time i saw this. Congrats to Loreen and Sweden, at least next year we are sure to have a slick production so she will be able to show this stunning performance at its full potential again

This whole performance feels like a music video to me. Everything is perfect here. Loreen’s voice, music, stage and acting is flawless. Definitely the winner. She's got this and only hers to loose.
But that can be a problem. Sweden stagings use to be so inmersive that looks like an interval act being played in a different stage. The biggest example is 2018. Hope this year they fit more to the Eurovision stage.

I can imagine the stress when that led thing thing came down over her head. I would be pretty nervous knowing what had happened earlier. But we know what she is capable of. Nerves came through and tons of pressure too knowing this was gonna be to break the record with most wins in eurovision. Ton of pressure, quite literally ...it could have crushed anyone 😂

This is one of the best love songs ive ever heard without being too much of something ( too dramatic, too sad, too shallow, too depressing etc ). It hit all the sweet spots all around like music, vocals, lyrics, pressence on stage and above all very emotional, true to what it tries to say. Songs can be catchy, can be alot of things. But powerful love songs like this which combine so much are super rare. I could see myself dancing while crying at the same time with this and thats unique. I see this song as a very easy win for Sweden. Well done

Yeah, the staging in Liverpool destroyed so much (as if she was stuck in a small cage trying to get out, and they excluded the best part all together with the tattoos / signs in the sky 2:24). I think she lost a lot of votes from the viewers because of the poor staging in Liverpool. And the monitor / screen they used over there also had really wide edges / boarders and poor lighting/effects on the 'ground' where she was supposed to be free in a dessert under the sky.

I still remember when back in 2012, I was fully convinced that Euphoria's going to win not just Melodifestivalen , but also Eurovision after just seeing Loreen performing live for the first time. Having absolutely the same vibe this year. She as an artist, the song and performance are just something else. It's a masterpiece that gives me constant chills for 3 full minutes.

She was the turning point. It was always good, and there was the odd raw talent, but it was mainly cheese and gimmicks. She made it mainstream, and look how big the competition has grown stage wise and globally since. If she does go this year I think they'll be a lot of angry eurovision fans, and Sweden won't be getting a positive score.

That performance was perfect on every aspect, especially staging's complexity (upper led screen cinematic animations) + camera angles (transition at 1:50 is spectacular, way more impactful than in Eurovision). If she had the opportunity to identically replicate this, of course the televote would have been better. Maybe not first place, but at least 280-290 points (so 40-50 more). Now, i remember why i was blown away first time i saw this. Congrats to Loreen and Sweden, at least next year we are sure to have a slick production so she will be able to show this stunning performance at its full potential again

This whole performance feels like a music video to me. Everything is perfect here. Loreen’s voice, music, stage and acting is flawless. Definitely the winner. She's got this and only hers to loose.
They have some great camera man , operators and sound engineers. It’s worthy to pay these people a bit more for such a great quality!
But that can be a problem. Sweden stagings use to be so inmersive that looks like an interval act being played in a different stage. The biggest example is 2018. Hope this year they fit more to the Eurovision stage.
Having seen footage shot from the audience, it does not look nearly as good. Hopefully they find a good balance.

@@homerj9286 they had some real hard times over there getting the perfomance right. It's a challenging number and they struggled to get it right, it didnt turn out right in the end but that's life. I can imagine the stress when that led thing thing came down over her head. I would be pretty nervous knowing what had happened earlier. But we know what she is capable of. Nerves came through and tons of pressure too knowing this was gonna be to break the record with most wins in eurovision. Ton of pressure, quite literally ...it could have crushed anyone 😂

This is one of the best love songs ive ever heard without being too much of something ( too dramatic, too sad, too shallow, too depressing etc ). It hit all the sweet spots all around like music, vocals, lyrics, pressence on stage and above all very emotional, true to what it tries to say. Songs can be catchy, can be alot of things. But powerful love songs like this which combine so much are super rare. I could see myself dancing while crying at the same time with this and thats unique. I see this song as a very easy win for Sweden. Well done

Yes this performance is way better than one in Liverpool.
Yeah, the staging in Liverpool destroyed so much (as if she was stuck in a small cage trying to get out, and they excluded the best part all together with the tattoos / signs in the sky 2:24). I think she lost a lot of votes from the viewers because of the poor staging in Liverpool. And the monitor / screen they used over there also had really wide edges / boarders and poor lighting/effects on the 'ground' where she was supposed to be free in a dessert under the sky.

Loreen is the true definition of an ARTIST. You can tell she thought about every single detail to make this performance so special. There's no one like her. This is what Eurovision is all about. Pure artistry!
She was the turning point. It was always good, and there was the odd raw talent, but it was mainly cheese and gimmicks.
She made it mainstream, and look how big the competition has grown stage wise and globally since.
If she does go this year I think they'll be a lot of angry eurovision fans, and Sweden won't be getting a positive score.

They could not even film the symbols, which is Loreen's main point with the staging. They also had issues with smoke machine. They had the worst shots ever when filming her. SVT and Loreen did not hold back their feelings about the way the staging was handled and things got heated between the delegation and BBC..
I have never seen an artist being able to make a performance *pulse* like Loreen does. It has a radiance that cannot be explained.
Loreen performing in Eurovision again would bring tears to my eyes. She means a lot for me since I had really hard times in school and euphoria helped me a lot through those times. She is the reason why I‘m obsessed with Eurovision, and I‘m thankful for it. I had non-stop goosebumps while listening to Tattoo. Please Sweden, vote for her! And Loreen, thank you for everything, you gave me strength and courage and I‘m sure there are many people outside with an similar story how you helped them.
