Don't sell that ring! What you have is Color: I ---DEF(colorless), GHI (slightly colored), JKL (moderate color), MNO (heavy color). Most diamonds fall in the moderate color range. Clarity: F (Internally flawless) very few diamonds have that and are usually registered-like yours. Then VVS1 &VVS2 (Very, very slight flaws not seen by eye), VS1 & VS2 (Very slight inclusions not seen by eye), SI1 & SI2 (slight inclusions seen by eye), S1 & S2 (inclusions seen by eye). Cut: Round brilliant is the most popular shape as opposed to Round. It is a newer cut and gives the most brilliance of any shape. For a stone that is 1.55-anything over 1.50 puts it in a higher price bracket. It may look like a very simple ring, but it is set in a Tiffany 6 prong setting with a white gold bale, which totally brings out your brilliance the most! Your registered ring by today's prices is about 8-10K or more!!! Don't sell it, keep it for your wife-renew your vows or something, give it to her and then you guys can pass it down. You will prob not see another one like it in your lifetime, they are not usually that available. If you need to have it sized-don't let it out of your sight! Have it sized by someone you trust and have them size it or repair it, while you are there watching. The diamond earrings might also be a big surprise to you, as well as the pearls. The older pearls are heavier and worth much more. Pearls with the 14kt or 18kt ball closure are usually a step above and worth about 2k-4k, depending on their size/color. You need to have them and the other diamonds looked at and appraised. The diamond pendant goes in that blue box with the little staple pin. That goes through the pendant's chain holder and then pushed into the felt liner. Fantastic finds for you!!!
Apparently I was overly conservative in my estimate. Not so much with the color (which is above normal), but the fact of the size, shape and clarity is what bumps the pricing up. To find a 1.55 round brilliant, flawless is amazing and I'm being told it is closer to 15K than the 8-10K
Yes Jack the screw back earings are diamonds my diamond earings have screw backs awesome finds Jack! The diamond ring is stunning and I would not sell any of it as scrap they are worth more I think as the real deal they are beautiful.
Usually when you have larger diamonds they out the screw backs one so there is less chance of the backs coming off so you don't loose them. At lest that is my experience.
Hold on to that ring and that 1 gram pure gold. That diamond is best of quality. As you've mentioned in your previous video, you should keep some of your best finds( gold, silver and precious stones). It will be a good investment for future.
Maybe that large diamond ring came from the Whitehall box? WH? It does look like at least a carat...The Nolan Miller is high end costume. Did the pearls have a necklace and a bracelet? Nice set; the company has been in business since 2003. Nice gold necklace! This is fun!! Pretty white gold ring with the little diamonds :) Screw back is a good sign...they are made like that so one doesn't lose their DIAMONDS !! Very nice treasure, Jack! :)
Jack, I don't think you should sell any of the diamonds or those heavy Gold necklaces. At the very least they are great investments and great family heirlooms. I don't know about the pearls but I know they seem to loose their luster after years. My mom had a beautiful 2 karat ring, it was worth 20 thousand and like a fool I went for sentiment and took my mom's wedding ring and my sister took the 2 karat ring of course at the time I had no idea what it was worth. Then she gives it to her son, who gives it to his wife, who has the diamond taken out and put in a modern white gold setting to be her new wedding ring and she doesn't even like the setting any more. It was set in a beautiful setting that looked like a sunflower and had several small diamonds set on the flower's petals . Moral of the story don't sell the diamonds! I have regretted letting that go everyday since.
I worked for Ben Bridge Jewelers for 12 years and the diamond you found is special. The F stands for color, not flawless as one of the other comments. The measurements are close to ideal cut and that can add 20 % to the value of a graded diamond, as the brilliance is enhanced by having the angles and proportions just right. So when you do sell it, be sure the price reflects the added value of the proper cut. Congratulations

Scrap value on the silver is around $500, and you can buy brand new coins like those for $600, so the value is somewhere between there. Pretty good score! Not as good as the diamond ring though.

Such a wonderful family and so happy to see good guys winning.
Just because you read a stamp doesn't make it what it says, the bails can be replaced and filled while chemical and scratch test results of necklace needs tested as well as the bails and pendants as they can all have different results when people have work done on jewelry (changing out the chain and bails).

Ask your wife what it's worth LOL Give it her.
really pleased you got this haul, love watching your channel, video production improving all the time like loving the time you take to go back and remind us from previous episodes, something you get from top tv programmes. Anything that is rare can I suggest do what you said you would do and put it in the bank and save it starting with the ring, earings, pearls, credit suise goldbar and gold necklace. Such a wonderful family and so happy to see good guys winning.
"Bridge gold" : means part that touches the skin is gold but the rest is not
Just because you read a stamp doesn't make it what it says, the bails can be replaced and filled while chemical and scratch test results of necklace needs tested as well as the bails and pendants as they can all have different results when people have work done on jewelry (changing out the chain and bails).
Mikimoto is really famous here in Japan 🇯🇵 💯 percent sure good quality 👍🌎🌈

Nice diamond 💍. .. sold out?
Wow Jack, beautiful rings, take the diamond and have it mounted in a different setting for Janna. This looks like an engagement ring.
The 1st one was a rosary.
Happy for you
Also so happy for started off bad with guy trying to up bid you but it was worth it in the end. Good guy wins at the end.
i have not watched your channel but so enjoyed the jewellery reveal I even got excited
Awesome finds, Congratulations!
Thanks!
You should give your wife that diamond ring, she would definitely love it.
WOW! Jack you seem to have the best luck with the hidden treasures. VERY NICE DIAMOND RING 💍.
Hope that other guy is crying because he "bid you up"

I really enjoy your channel and how you take the time to show us what you find. Others are just all over the place like adhd overdrive.
I have a similar diamond that was appraised at close to $10,000. And that was the actual replacement cost, not just insured price.
Wow that's awesome!!!!! SO VERY HAPPY FOR YOU GUYS 🎉❤❤
