As she was paying for items she said of course I'm using a credit card who doesn't have a credit card. It's kind of like when I taught my kids to play board games, it's an empty victory if you cheat to win. Cuz what you're going to be celebrated for something you didn't earn. Identity theft is my biggest fear. I only keep one credit card to simplify my life. I keep wondering how few people would be on earth if all the scum were not in it? Guess I'm as isolated from them as I can be in a remote island community of under 300 people who have all lived here for a long time. We are like-minded and watch out for any one of us who needs help with something. Far too many losers out there who constantly do the wrong thing. It all comes down to having a conscience, a decent education, and knowing how to make good decisions for yourself. Lack in any of those things and you become a waste of space and air.
@@bf1822 Sorry to hear that. I actually haven't used an ATM machine in about 20 years. Not one in my area and when travelling, hide cash and have my one charge card only. I try to plan ahead so to never need a machine, especially at night or in a n isolated area. Would go into the bank if cash is actually needed, but it isn't. Keep my charge card close by in a zipped jacket pocket (or money belt) and not in my wallet or purse.
Ridiculously low consequences. Whenever the lowest possible time is given for a crime, it seems to be because the Judge is clueless about the impact the crime has on a victim. The Judge might need something like that to happen to him in order to understand what victims go through. There shouldn't be a comparison with other devastating things that are happening to people, like cancer. They are all traumatic! How can someone have one charge after another and keep being let out to do more damage? She is a habitual offender and needs to be locked up forever to keep her away from good and honest people. She has already had too many choices and will never learn. The identity thief actor portrayed her part very well! It can't be easy to play the role of a scumbag.

This could have been an interesting and moving film about how helpless and frightened a young woman, alone, would feel in such a dire situation. But the actress showed little emotion about her ID being stolen and finances ruined. She walked through this movie as though everything was just fine and she was shoppin' at her local market or book store. Too bad.

I felt so bad for them and I was even trying to think of a way to get them away from the table to let one of them know and I didn't know how to do it. It was terrible. I felt awful for them.
Often it is not a legitimate problem like identity theft when a card is declined. They should not be wasting money at a restaurant if money is tight. If there is a low spending limit, then they need to keep track of how much was already spent! Some people just create their own problems and then complicate things even more. It is the 'I deserve it!' people who mostly have this card decline issue. Buying unnecessary things for themselves when there is not enough money to cover it.
