It has already started. After waiting two months for my ex to discuss getting back together, I knew that he hadn't changed and was probably still partying to much and I told him he needed to make the decision today. Instead, he said he wanted to be just friends. I've known for a while that it I should have broken off all contact, but I wanted to give him another chance. I'm done. I blocked him, I deleted him and I'm moving on. I guess I knew on an intuitive level that everything I have worked for and prayed for and wanted would not come as long as I tried to get this toxic person to change into want I needed him to be, but never will! We broke up 20 months ago and not seen each other but 3 times in this past year and not intimate for a year, so it's not like we just broke up. I just needed extra time to let go, but I have and I am. I feel free! I know it won't be as easy as this every day, one I'm taking one step at a time and looking forward to new and wonderful things happening in my life! The good I truly deserve!
