I was born in ‘48 and remember my mother’s and my aunt’s dresses from the ‘50’s. We would take the train from our small town to go to Greensboro (NC) to shop. They always wore high heels, hats, often gloves. When my aunt died, we found a trunk full of clothes; I had them dry cleaned and donated to a university drama department.
IKR? Doesn't she look gorgeous? I sure wish women dressed like that today instead of always looking like they just got off an 8 hour shift on a garbage truck!
I wish they would show some of these colorized episodes on TV on the different channels and even on the stream channels. It's so nice to see the color of People's clothing instead of grey. And her dresses were always gorgeous.

I think I will join Fred and Ethel. LOL, so many newlyweds or wannabe weds will understand what she was feeling! Lucy looked dazzling in the dress she wore at the end.
Exactly! Americans speak only English, meanwhile a lot of us Latinos speak, read, write 2+ more languages + have a Degree and they think we are ignorant because of our accent!
Sadly, I checked the research that stated US citizens cannot visit Cuba for tourism purposes. Only for family visits, humanitarian projects, and support for the Cuban people. Travelers must self-declare their travel category when booking.
The last hurricane knocked out the entire power grid on the island of Cuba. Not sure if it's back on or not. Beautiful creative people, music, art, and food. Buildings pretty, but crumbling when I went in 2008.
I love how Lucy’s hair changes color 50 times during this clip. First it’s or orange, then it turns completely grey, then slightly brown, orange again, grey again and so on.
Ricky and little Ricky's coats change to. In the opening shot they are green. LOL. I love the colorization but they need to do more than just run it through a computer program.
Look how flight attendants were so stylish back then. I just flew AA to Athens, half of the crew were older than my grandma, the other half looked like someone dressed to check the mail at 7 in the morning.
If you colorized the entire "I Love Lucy" series & put them back on t.v., I'll bet that it would get as high, "Nielsen ratings" as many new shows! p.s. Today, 10/23/24., Communist Cuba is currently in a total, electric "Blackout"! Look how far it has dropped since "Lucy's",1955 Capitalist Cuba!
As an aside, "PAA" was the then three lettered abbreviation for "Pan American Airways." Later, they would shift to using two letters (as all major airlines would do) and identified themselves as "PA" ("Pan Am" or "Pan American"). I have a photograph of my Grandfather boarding a "PAA" flight in the mid-1950's as he was taking a trip from New York City (Idlewild Airport) to Dublin Ireland (where he was from). This dress Lucy is wearing to meet Ricky's family is beautiful. She is a knock out. I do so love some of the fashions of the 50s. So very feminine.

Timeless and beautiful dress indeed!
My god Lucy was an absolute Stunner!!

I can never get tired of watching “I Love Lucy” episodes…epic!
This show looks good in color

Love this clip! My parents married in 1960 and they went to Cuba for their honeymoon!! They said it was lovely. 💕💕
Ah yes, pre Cuban revolution when Americans could just fly over to Havana ! ✈
Except that Castro seized power in 1959

More new colorized I Love Lucy scenes please. They make my heart happy.

Lucy was stunning, and she still is.

Fabulous colorization! Very life like, I had the over saturated coloring book type look of the official colorized episodes.
Is not that life like with Ricky because he was a little bit more dark skin it than that but we understand
Thank you for sharing 😂😊
The colors on Ricky's jacket and Little Ricky's jacket and tie change! Lol
And the book changes color.
Lucy's Dress changes colors too
Lucy’s hair changed too
Okay little Ricky’s shirt changed colors or I am tripping out one lol it was from blue to green
