I am Lahore born,now living in Delhi.Internet has brought us so close to each other.I used to hear a lot from my late father about Lahore and Chakwal(my grandfather had a lot of landed property in Chakwal,Talagang and Bhaun)You have a very rich voice and you have described everything in a very graceful manner ,in urdu.I think it would be much better if you mix a little bit of Punjabi also because nothing is closer to mother tongue. Coming to Rafi Sahib,I must tell you that he was one of the most respected singers of India and he was a great human being as well.There are various stories about his large heartedness.I would like to say something here.Rajkapoor had nothing against Rafi Sahib but the only thing is that his voice was very different from Rafi Sahib and most of the songs which were picturised on Raj sahib were sung by Mukesh sahib. Rafi bhai was a great person and a man of humility. Though Allah SWT gave him a good voice but Rafi bhai never pride over his voice. He always thanked Almighty Allah SWT. He was a Legend and this is why people loved him. May his soul rest in peace. Ameen. SubhanAllah.

Mohamed Rafi (Rahimahullah) passed on during the holy month of Ramadhan in 1980. My friends and I were devasted to learn of his passing. He was the only singer who could sing any emotional and high pitch song without moving his body. It was a personal loss for me.

No fondness, no Love, no sentiments, no respect for his roots and associates. Other hand, Yousuf Khan Sahib (Dp.Kumar) had altogather different stance. Murhuum Rafi Sb was blessed with great Voice. We accept but it was'nt man made or he made. May Allah forgives him & the whole Ummah. Family should also seek forgiveness for him immensely. from Almighty Allah.

Mohamed Rafi (Rahimahullah) passed on during the holy month of Ramadhan in 1980. My friends and I were devasted to learn of his passing. He was the only singer who could sing any emotional and high pitch song without moving his body. It was a personal loss for me.

No fondness, no Love, no sentiments, no respect for his roots and associates. Other hand, Yousuf Khan Sahib (Dp.Kumar) had altogather different stance. Murhuum Rafi Sb was blessed with great Voice. We accept but it was'nt man made or he made. May Allah forgives him & the whole Ummah. Family should also seek forgiveness for him immensely. from Almighty Allah.
