I am Lahore born,now living in Delhi.Internet has brought us so close to each other.I used to hear a lot from my late father about Lahore and Chakwal(my grandfather had a lot of landed property in Chakwal,Talagang and Bhaun)You have a very rich voice and you have described everything in a very graceful manner ,in urdu.I think it would be much better if you mix a little bit of Punjabi also because nothing is closer to mother tongue. Coming to Rafi Sahib,I must tell you that he was one of the most respected singers of India and he was a great human being as well.There are various stories about his large heartedness.I would like to say something here.Rajkapoor had nothing against Rafi Sahib but the only thing is that his voice was very different from Rafi Sahib and most of the songs which were picturised on Raj sahib were sung by Mukesh sahib.
