The problem seems to be that you are lacking structure in there, if I was building it, I think my preferred method would be to get some box tube and build the B-pillar out of that, and get the structure completely there before trying to make the door perfect, It is gonna be a custom door either way, so having the structure there to mount it to, getting it swinging without anything flopping, then worrying about the skin would be the order of operations. I am looking forward to seeing what you do with this, it is a hard job to figure all this out, if you get it done right, it will be a very cool truck!
Conversion companies did and they are hard to find when you do find them they're all rusted out for more money than I want to spend I decided to build my own exactly the way I want it. thanks for the comment!
It's the roof line on a intracle cab sleeper they done back in the mid 90 The 60 Chevy trucks with the windshield set back from the cap roof line . That were 1960 to 1963 are the best cabs with less wind noise .
From this to what you have today, wow.

Hard to hear you speak, are you using a mic? Thank you.
Just got a mic going to try it on the next video
Use a Bluetooth headset, loud n clear
Did they ever make a crew cab GMC or Chevy in 1966?
No but there were some conversion companies that did
@@chopshopart Thank you love the build
I agree with Cody this is going to be a wicked build. Looking forward to the next video.
Thanks 👍
I wouldn't think of replacing the factory rockers at least wait until they are stripped of paint to see what you have there.
Yeah they're rusted
@@chopshopart yes i saw a better angle of them they were rusted my bad
Great project and job.
Nice work! Appreciate the trick with the coat hanger. Pretty cool how you are getting those cabs together. Sometimes you just gotta go big!
Credit for that goes to bad Chad customs here on TH-cam
Hell yeah this is sick, I remeber watching your square body video 3 years ago. This is sick can’t wait to see it done
The engine bay on those trucks has also been extended for the 702 V 12's.
Wow! Looking forward to seeing you build this!
Halfass Kustoms did a similar build. Have you seen it. Might be some good tips and tricks there.
I'll check it out thanks
👍
Man I can't wait to see the finished product. I used to have a 62 GMC crew cab
Yeah I can't wait to have it done
Nice work kid!

I done mine in 1996 .
But I raised the roof in the back to look like a Vovo semi.
Now we just have to figure out what a Vovo semi is
