Looking to create a Kaleidoscope Effect in Adobe Photoshop, but don’t know where to begin? In this video, you’ll learn the entire process using the Scripted Fill and Transform Again functions.
This effect has been seen in the visually rich music video Pillow Talk by Zayn. You will learn how to create a similar effect easily and not by manually placing dozens of copies! Photoshop has a couple of useful features to make this task significantly easier. First is the frequently overlooked Scripted Fill, which makes short work of creating kaleidoscope patterns and has enough options to keep you busy experimenting for hours. Paired with that is the Transform Again feature, which is a fun way to create repetitive objects similar to the way the old Spirograph used to work.

I followed everything to the letter, everything the exact same, but it's completely different. The scaling is wrong somewhere, yet I copied every single number correctly. Exact same canvas size. Tried it 5 or 6 times.

Hey, nice video but each time i create the scripted fill, it crops the pattern i am using (also a human). I'm only able to see the legs on the canvas. Any tips for how to fix this? Thanks
