Sir for the last question, it seems all the ligands are in tetrahedral fashion so both the CO must be same and IR stretching must be same, im perplex..pls explain.
Sir i think the ans.of 9th ques.should be (b) bcz sigma donor ligand increases the e-density on metal thereby making it more e-rich with which i can do back bonding with carbonyl nd decreases the str.freq.of CO.
Sir, in question number 9, sigma donor (less pi acceptor capacity) will increase more electron density at Central metal... Due to which the CO bond become poor and show less stretching frequency... But you said opposite to it.... Correct me if I am wrong....
I am thinking same.. sigma donar ligand will increase electron density of M ion which inturn increses M to L back bonding therefore CO bond will weakens and stretching frequency should decrease. 🙄🙄
Sir in Q 9.. sigma donar ligand will increase electron density of M ion which inturn increses M to L back bonding therefore CO bond will weakens and stretching frequency should decrease. 🙄🙄
Sir on addition of sigma donor group there will be high electron density on metal centre due to this there will be enhancement in back donation of electron. Due to this the Carbonyl Streching Frequency will dec. So ans of question 9 should be "b". Correct me if I am wrong?
Sir, during this lockdown periods, please try to upload two more assignment/MCQ over any two chapter's.We are highly obliged to you. (My suggestion to give assignment over Thermodynamics or Statistical Thermodynamics)
Why sigma donor ligand increases the carbonyl frequency? If sigma donor ligand is at metal, then electron density at metal centre more so back-bonding should be.....pls explain sir
Yes... Cl is sigma donor .. then it will increase the electron density on the metal centre so that metal can easily back donate its electron density toward CO .and hence CO stretching frequency gets decreased.

Yes sir
Please clarify this
Same question

exactly even I have the same question
I am thinking same.. sigma donar ligand will increase electron density of M ion which inturn increses M to L back bonding therefore CO bond will weakens and stretching frequency should decrease. 🙄🙄
Very balanced explanations, thank you

Yes answer should be b
Ya ans. Should be b
Yes you are right
No a because in product metal oxidation state increased by +2 unit
@@digvijoyasarma8081 good logic....
Sir ek apne lanthenoids actenoids ka Florescence color ka ques krvaya tha...I m not able to get tht question ..plz provide link
Thank you sir. In question no 12 how we get oxidation state of Fe as +2. Its carbonyl compound. The oxidation state is zero na

Plzz do mcq for molecular spectroscopy sir...
Sir Pease take a class on fluxionality in organometallic compounds
Quantum mechanics sir
For 9th question please conform it once sir answer should be little bit confussion
Well understood sir!!
Plz upload Bioinorganic chemistry question and basics of main group elements
Sir Can you Include videos for other exams like IIT JAM, CUCET, CUCAT etc...
Sir...For Question number 9 which is the correct answer??
Wonderful explanation sir
Superb Sir
Don't understand the last one is it tetrahedral one and how Streching frequency become different
Exactly bro.....
In question 13, where is NH peak?
thank u so much sir.....
Option b should be the correct answer for question no 9
Why sigma donor ligand increases the carbonyl frequency? If sigma donor ligand is at metal, then electron density at metal centre more so back-bonding should be.....pls explain sir
it can be explained on the basis of metal Oxidation state
Ya i missed the point over there, you can even understand on the basis of oxidation state rather than ligands.
Nicely done by @Arighna
Okkk sir

Sir Qno-10 me D option aana chahiye
Yes... Cl is sigma donor .. then it will increase the electron density on the metal centre so that metal can easily back donate its electron density toward CO .and hence CO stretching frequency gets decreased.
Yes but that was question no 9
Yes
Actually Cl accept the electrons from leading to decrease in electron density.

Explanation is very good. But try to speak English properly rather than saying "like" ,"and ya" multiple times, it's quite irritating.
