I was an alright drifter in FH2 (pretty much only drifted in AWD though.) Now that I've got my hands on Forza 6, Im gonna start to learn how to drift RWD. Thanks for this video!
Just want to thank you as I've been struggling like hell in multiplayer drifting (best I've got is 8th place but usually 15th or 16th) all my cars are spec'd out with race tyres, I couldn't suss why I was doing so badly or why it was so hard, watched this vid and you mentioned using sports tyres, immediately better and I got 4th on my next go, cheers dude 👍🏻
Dont use race tires they have too much grip,use sport tires plus try TO drift a car with 500 hp like a 240sx and as THE tuning IS up TO you:) btw my gt IS Reactive4VIRO
have you done a video or would you be willing to do a video about toe and camber angle in relation to drifting? like, if your car steps out too easily, adjust camber/toe like this...

Pro tip: drag tires are a great way to keep your car sideways and gain speed in straits, but face understeer with out using the e-brake to enter the drift.

Why did you use the Dodge Daytona it's not cheap at all and is really big for a first off drifters I mean like yeah I think that the car is too big for drifters to to start off with you could Have started off with a slightly modified Toyota GT 86
Your tire compound, horsepower, and angle plays a large part in it. But brakes and e brake help too. Just lift off the throttle and use brakes if you have to
I can counter steer well when it comes to circuit racing and what not. But when it comes to drifting I do alright but I always spin out. I'm not 100% sure why tho. I think it might be too much throttle but idk. What am I doing wrong?
if you have simulation stirring on (an assist ) that's why also don't listen to this guy he has know idea how to teach get a 240sx and then put it to 250 hp and the feather the throttle at max lock then counter steer don't bother using the hand brake yet
if you keep spinning out ease off the throttle and soften the car up a bit and if you find the car getting a bit too much angle and you can't countersteer I found that hand brake works charms

+Pro Horizon i'd start out with 400-500 nothing crazy use the stock motor if your on a budget. just enough to get you to slide then as you go you can see if you need more or less HP

You can press up on the dpad and that way all of your Inputs can be seen from steering to handbrake
I found horizon 2 drifting so easy, Forza 6 is way harder

If you push down on the D-pad it shows a whole bunch of information and such
I give up. Every time I try to drift, some guy comes behind me and slams into the side of my car, spinning me out.

Top fuel cars do NOT use street tires they use slicks which are drag tires in this game

If you are trying to get into drifting .. I recommend starting in Forza Horizon 3 .. much easier and pretty easy to get use to drifting
Horizon is an arcade racer, motorsport is more of a simulation. I don't get how so many people can't see that difference

It's easier to drift cause it's long wheel base won't spin out as easy as a 86

try coutersteering more(but not a lot tho) and giving less gas.
Also if you have high horsepower, try decreasing it

Try clutch kicking, and maintaining rpms as steady as possible, keep them high but make sure your in the right gear
