Holy Mackerel is the one most broken Battlegrounds card to have ever been printed.
Who would've thought unlimited divine shield poisonous murlocs were a good idea??
I mean, without being able to adapt your murlocs anymore, it's not that bad. Only way to get other murlocs with divine shield is either amagadon, or the divine shield treasure

@@gferrol118 It can still easily be broken. Just need one divined shield taunt and a few mackerel or a mackerel and a few divine shield, and you can easily win against people who don’t have it.

@@P4ndieEy3ss it won't give you from primalfin when there is no more in the pool. Only way to generate extra minions when there are no in the pool is Murozond/rafaam hp/tess hp or now the prize with discover something from opponent board
Hysteria needs mackerel to get attacked to successfully pull off his comp. also hysteria doesn’t give mackerel taunt when offered it on multiple occasions
At 1:22, I think it crossed the Integer upper limit 2^31-1 which made it go negative. Then they probably have a rule that a negative attack is reset to 0.

1:25 LMAO that’s hilarious. 2.147 billion attack is when it crashes out, meaning that the amount of damage you can do is stored under a 32 byte integer limit as opposed to 64 (what it should be).
I’m assuming it’s because they also use negative values when taking damage
Chiot Yes, and while normally you would be doing -2.147 billion damage, the game is hard coded for attacks to not go lower than 0 (probably using code such as “int”) - the game will keep the attack at 0 unless the attack is boosted by Micro Mummy or someone similar. Doubling 0 is always 0, so....
@@TheUKNutter attack goes lower than zero, but its displayed as zero
@@propertyundefined correct. you can lower a minion's attack below 0. I've proven this with stuff like pint sized potion to take attack to -2 (displays as 0), and then the opponent buffs the minion's attack by 1 so it becomes -1 (which would display as 0). If it was hard coded to not go lower than 0, then it would've gone up to 1, but it stayed displayed as 0.
I one time by accident set up a death rattle build with the demon that gives its damage to another minion, along with a golden Barrón, next thing you know I’m giving every minion on my team like +600 attack

you are correct, but i am so used to real games that i would had picked health over taunt as a general rule too
@@RafaelGonzalez88888 Opponent was playing a plugin, which means 99% Murlocs. 3 health doesn't mean anything against murlocs.
obviously you don't know how effective it is to pray and point your mouse at the minion that you wanted attacked a lot

Considering there's 3 pirate Exodia comps, I'm surprised the OG Exodia build isn't on here (Ghoul, Baron, Goldrinn, Selfless, Rat Pack)
There's only one pirate Exodia build here, the cannon and Eliza comps aren't Exodia. Exodia builds were supposed to be builds where you use Ghoul and Baron Rivendare to create a deathrattle chain reaction.
@@husboy1 the way I see it, "Exodia" doesn't mean exactly ghoul as a trigger, it means "if you assemble this very specific comp, you'll be unstoppable", and after ghoul-selfless-goldrinn-baron-rat, scallywag-khadgar-baron-eliza feels the most deserving of the label "Exodia"

@@benjaminbarbaro6040 well to find it first they needed a solid income of hadgar shenanigans when finding enough parrots upgrading tavern tier to find the rest of the combo still using shenanigans
why wouldn't you choose taunt on the second to make sure the mackerel gets attacked?

Could you copy argent braggarts with tess/rafaam/murozond and triple them to get a permanent 2 billion health minion?
Actually no, because Braggarts Battlecry sets the Stats of it, it doesn't add any
@@SFfan112 yes, but let's say you have an x/x minion, you play 2 braggarts and then triple them. Then you play the triple on an empty board, it should have the stat buffs of the 2 originals, which makes it a 2x/2x minion. Then repeat
@@SFfan112 Golden braggarts set the stats to twice the biggest minion's stats.
@@overlordsmashalot3891 you can try this with a handbuffed braggart in Constructed.
@@nuutivesterinen4053 combining cards to gold gives them all stats from the cards, that were combined. So golden braggart should get 2x just from combining 2 braggarts. Though its battlecry might reset them back to 1x, dunno

int32 attack was an error with “multiply attack by 2 every hit” :)
Actually even int16 would be enough for Hearthstone. They just needed to add a simple check: if multiplier > max_int_val / current_attack, then attack = max_int_val. I guess, that small indie company just didnt have enough budget for that. SO BUY PACKS!
