    Couple years ago, I drove my Prius v(not AWD) accidentally gone to the track, it rained for 3days, the track is really muddy, my car stuck on a popup, after we manage to get out of the stuck, I put my family back to friend’s car. I ran into the track only me, i got no choice. Only way is driving car at speed of 40 km/h for the muddy tracks, I can feel the speed been slow down by the sinking muddy dirts. I tried my best to maintain 30-40 km/h, I saw the big holes and some wood steps on the track,finally I come out, and the exit is just outside the information board, not far away from it.

    I’m heading up there next week as my son is hitting the MTB trails... can you share your journey with me/us on a map? You can do it on google maps.

    Hey Tyler , I got caught on the beach same sort of problem. I use the winch with long sand pegs about 10 off them pegged along the winch rope.. I leave them in the car now 👌 not much weight . Worked a treat.

    Hey mate great video.
    Me and a few friends are looking at going 4wding around the coorabakh NP and camping around the Hat Head NP. Any good camping spots you would recommend? I am looking to go to this part of the NSW mid-north coast because it looks like a good mix of beach and Bush 4wding?
    Cheers

      Correction; looking at camping any where around Diamond Head or in the Crowdy Bay NP not Hat Head NP

    • @TylerThompson90
      @TylerThompson90  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey mate, yeah theres plenty of good 4wd bush and beach tracks around there. Diamond head and crowds bay both have national park campgrounds if you just type into google they will come up. Just keep in mind a lot of the places around here are currently closed due to fires and may be closed for a while yet. The whole of crowdy bay national has just gone up in flames

      Thanks for this mate. I will do some research and make an inquiry to NPWS about park closures. Hope you and your family have been safe where you are

    Great Video Ty, I see you chickened out on the bog hole at the back of Queens Lake lol, I've Had some fun times in there. it's my back yard and love it. maybe time to invest in some Maxtrax too? keep it up mate.

    • @TylerThompson90
      @TylerThompson90  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cheers mate! Haha yeah I normally take the chicken track if there is one when it comes to mud, wore out too many wheel bearings and breaks from mud haha. I have set of recovery tracks I take away on trips but just didn't really worry about it on the day trip because I never seem to use them, and then of course when I don't take them end up needing them haha.

    Do you need a permit to go to those dunes? Also, If you have a spare tire, you could have just buried the spare with the winch attached and whinched forward.

    • @TylerThompson90
      @TylerThompson90  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just the local beach driving permit mate. Yeah did consider that but thought it would have taken even longer.

    • @fourbypete
      @fourbypete 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Tyler Thompson you looked like you were mostly over the hump. Digging a tire 2 feet into the sand shouldn't take you more than 10 mins in sand. And once you're over the tire it's easy to which straight up.

    hey tyler when you bellied out on that dune, you could have burried your spare tyre and used the winch, keep up the vids comming and great work

    • @TylerThompson90
      @TylerThompson90  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Cheers mate! Yeah I did consider that but it seemed like even more work haha. I'll definitely be able to do that but if I ever need to!
