    I wonder after witnessing the awesomeness of the rapture how anyone left behind would still not turn to Jesus and still be fooled by the antichrist.

    We believe in a pre-tribulation rapture. The 7 year tribulation is “Jacobs Trouble”, not the Church’s trouble. We are looking for Jesus in the clouds! A watchman in NC✝️

    The rapture will not take place before the Antichrist is revealed because according to Matthew 24:29-30 the bible says “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. The bible clearly says "IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE TRIBULATION" that means we (THE CHURCH) will be on the earth during the great tribulation and we will be able to recognize the Antichrist according to the prophecies in the bible 2Thess 2:3-4; Revelation 13:5 ; Daniel 7: 25,27, 11:31, 38 etc...

    The Lord said he would never leave nor forsake us. And we know that believers have the Holy Spirit living in this temple with us. So if the Holy Spirit leaves earth so do we. He is the Restrainer. He's the only one that has the power!!!

    2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 completely destroys a Pre-Tribulation Rapture. When I was a young Christian and taught a Pre-Tribulation Rapture, many years ago, I noticed that those I considered to be spiritual leaders at the time, would hammer and hammer any passage of scriptures that contradicted this theory, until they mentally forced it, in their minds, to fit into the Pre-Tribulation Rapture theory. Just like these men are attempting to do on this video. And since 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 destroys a Pre-Tribulation Rapture, many attempt to destroy 2 Thessalonians chapter 2. Except that they have one serious problem:
    2 Corinthians 13:8 KJV
    For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.
    The clear message of 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 is this simple and plain truth:
    -The Rapture will not take place until after the Church knows the identity of the Anti-Christ, and his identity will be revealed when he goes into a rebuilt Jewish Temple claiming to be God.-
    The Anti-Christ going into the Jewish temple claiming to be God is called the Abomination of Desolation that Daniel 9:27 says occurs in the middle of the last 7 years of this age and Jesus said in Matthew 24:15-21 that this is the event that begins the Great Tribulation. So the Great Tribulation is the second 3 1/2 years of the last 7 years.
    Inconclusion, this obviously means that the Rapture could not and will not occur at the beginning of the last 7 years.
    The Church is in a time of tribulation right now as the Church has always been since its beginning and will continue to be so through the first 3 1/2 years of the last 7, then we move into Great Tribulation.
    Revelation 13:5 says that the reign of the Anti-Christ will last for 42 months, which is also the remaining 3 1/2 years of this last 7 years.
    The Great Tribulation is Great Persecution not the wrath of God. During the end of the Great Tribulation under the Vials some of the wrath of God will be poured out upon the Anti-Christ, the False Prophet and those that have the Mark of the Beast, but not on the Church. The Church along side the Two Faithful Witnesses will be opposing the Anti-Christ and bringing about a great revival in the earth. Many souls will be saved according to Revelation 7:9-17 and then, after the Rapture on the Day of the Lord, which is the day that ends the Great Tribulation, the wrath of God will be pour out without mixture in the cup of his indignation. Everyone that has the Mark of Beast will be destroyed but other Gentile mortals and a remnant of Jews will survive and enter into the Millennium.
    The Church will not suffer the wrath of God, but she will endure Great Persecution from Satan using man during the Great Tribulation.
    However, our faith is in this promise
    Daniel 7:18 KJV
    "But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever."
    We will do this when we follow our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on the Day of the Lord, after the Rapture, to the Battle of Armageddon in our brand new Raptured and glorified bodies!

    Gentleman, those were great biblically sound answers. Thank you. For those wanting to be saved. You are saved by grace through faith, not of works lest anyone should boast. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, that he died for your sins, was buried 3 days, on the 3rd day, He rose from death to life. If you accept this, you are saved.

      Brenda Morris - sad....you believe in your own works and goodness to save you. No....simply believing by faith, the sacrifice Jesus made for us, is enough. It is by Grace we are saved through faith and NOT of ourselves. He completely paid the penalty of sin that we deserved. He took all of Gods wrath upon Himself, that WE deserved......grace, unmerited favor. At Salvation we're justified....yes, as if we NEVER sinned. I'll never understand how people gets if so wrong....

    Having studied eschatology from both amillennial, ans premillennial perspectives (to which I lean). And having been exposed to preterism (which I reject), I have always reserved judgement on the exact timing of the catching away. But there are four things I'm convinced of by scripture.
    1.The dead in Christ shall rise, and we which are alive and remain shall be changed in the twinkling of an eye, and we will say good bye to this present age.
    2. More Christians should read Daniel 9, to see that one last week of Daniel's 70 weeks remains for Israel's judgement under Gentile powers, to finish transgression, and bring in everlasting righteousness, because...
    3. The 69th week of Daniel ended at the crucifixion, or at least "in the midst of the week, Messiah shall be cut off...." And this could well be interpreted as a portion of the week left for Jacob's trouble. However I believe the covenant is from the antichrist, so it is an entire 7 year period.
    4. MORE Christians need to read Romans 11 and Daniel, esp. Ch.9 before they ever even look at Revelation.

      Altough the Scriptures use the word 'day', the word refers to a specified period. I'm a pre-wrather, they're pre-tribers. That's why I posted this. It's a common mistake pre-tribers make.

      If I would disagree with you on faith vs. works or did Jesus literally or symbolically rise from the dead and I would choose the latter, maybe you could call me a fool. But not on the issue of the rapture, because this isn't an easy topic. So, you shouldn't be prematurely calling other brothers in Christ fools. In this case Mat. 5,22 applies to you.

    • @Zatoichi82
      @Zatoichi82 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      "[Y]ou are quite proficient at disregarding the context of scripture, which explains your adherence to an erroneous and bizarre eschatological view." It could be the case that I am wrong. But this is what I think of people who believe in pre-trib. The difference is, I don't call them fools (because they aren't) and try to treat them with dignity as Christ commanded. I just believe they are mistaken on this topic. This was my point and rebuke against you're arrogant response, Russ. And yes, also peace and grace to you in Christ our Lord.

  • @Leah_Tewari
    @Leah_Tewari 6 ปีที่แล้ว +7

    I believe the “restraining force” is actually referring to the Church. Many will come to faith in Christ after the Rapture takes place and throughout the Great Tribulation Period. No one can come to faith without the Holy Spirit.

    • @SuzanneBaruch
      @SuzanneBaruch 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeshua told us who the Restrainer is:
      John 16:7 But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away! For if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you. 8 “When He comes, *He will convict the world about sin, righteousness, and judgment* : 9 concerning sin, because they do not believe in Me; 10 concerning righteousness, because I am going to the Father and you will no longer see Me; 11 and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.
      Yet, we are told at Genesis 6:3, following a rise of sinfulness, that it will not always be this way: "Then Adonai said, “My Spirit will not remain with humankind forever, since they are flesh."
      Since "the Helper" convicts the world that it is sinful, when that convicting force stops convicting people of their sins, the world becomes overwhelmingly evil -- as it is today. The "Restrainer," therefore, is not the Ekklesia, but the "Holy Spirit."

    • @Leah_Tewari
      @Leah_Tewari 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Suzanne Baruch “This was precisely Paul’s point in his letter to the Thessalonians. Some of them thought that they had already entered the Day of the Lord, but Paul reassures them that this could not be the case for the man of sin must first be revealed and he will not be revealed until the Restrainer has been taken out of the way. The Thessalonian believers would be “gathered together” to Christ before the man of sin would be revealed.
      Since the ministry of the Holy Spirit includes indwelling believers and working through the church, then ἐκ μέσου γένηται [ek mesou genētai] (“taken out of the way”) could possibly refer to the removal of the Holy Spirit through the removal of the church in the pretribulational rapture. Since the passage concerns the gathering of believers, this cryptic apocalyptic reference to the Spirit, who indwells the church, is probably in view. This would be an encouragement to the Thessalonian believers to stop being alarmed about any false teaching on the Day of the Lord.5”

    • @Leah_Tewari
      @Leah_Tewari 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Suzanne Baruch “Of the various suggestions, it would seem that the Restrainer must be supernatural in power. For what government could restrain Satan and do so continuously for 2,000 years? Yet, Scripture indicates that the Holy Spirit had just such a ministry (Gen. Gen. 6:3; Gen. 20:6; John John 16:18). It seems the best solution for the identity of the Restrainer is the Holy Spirit Himself. “The first participle (τὸ κατέχο [to katecho] ) conforms to the gender of πνεῦμα [pneuma] . The second participle ὁ κατέχων [ho katechōn] confirms the personality of the Holy Spirit.”3 If this is so, this has significant implications concerning the Rapture of the Church because we previously saw that the Holy Spirit indwells those who are baptized into the Body of Christ permanently for the day of redemption. It is impossible that the Holy Spirit could depart from indwelling the sealed believer-He cannot be taken out of the way unless all born-again believers indwelt by Him are taken with Him!
      The Holy Spirit came down into the world at Pentecost in a special sense in which He had never been in the world, to dwell in the Church, the body of believers which is called the temple of the Holy Spirit (1Cor. 1Cor. 6:19). When all believers are removed to heaven according to the promise made to the church in Philadelphia (Rev. Rev. 3:10+), . . . the Holy Spirit goes out of the world in the sense that He came into it at Pentecost.4”

    • @Leah_Tewari
      @Leah_Tewari 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Suzanne Baruch “Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.”
      ‭‭John‬ ‭3:5‬ ‭NIV‬‬
      There will be many people who come to Christ during the Tribulation. The 144,000 Jewish witnesses (Revelation 7:4) are Jewish believers. If no one can come to Christ during the Tribulation, then why are people being beheaded for their faith (Revelation 20:4)? No passage of Scripture argues against people having a chance to be saved after the Rapture. Many passages indicate the opposite.

    • @SuzanneBaruch

      Housewives62, thank you for cutting-and-pasting from a commentary, but I am already acquainted with this rationale. In fact, the commentary mostly agrees with what I have already written! There is only one thing: the conclusion that the Holy Spirit is 1) restraining only via the Ekklesia, and 2) removed from the earth, is not at all supported by Scripture. This was my point entirely.

    How very blind can you be to quote the verse that says, The day of Jesus' return will not come until the Anti-Christ *IS* revealed. All of you said in union *"I DON'T THINK SO!"* and none of us care what you think. What the verse says is all that matters. Jesus will not return until first the Anti-Christ is revealed. Twisting God's Word is not becoming of those who call themselves ministers of God!

    So, I can not understand, if you read 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4, how you can say that we will be "gathered unto Him" or "raptured" before the antichrist is revealed, seeing that verse 3 specifically states that the day that we will be "gathered unto Him" shall NOT come until AFTER the man of sin be revealed. How can this be interpreted as the opposite, that we will not know who the antichrist is. Sometime I think that instead of just going by the scriptures, that we listen to others ideas and take them as the truth. But the truth is in His Word, plainly stated.
    2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 (KJV)
    2 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our GATHERING UNTO HIM,
    2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
    3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day SHALL NOT COME, except there come a falling away first, AND THAT MAN OF SIN BE REVEALED, the son of perdition;
    4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

      Austin Ayers firstly mature up bro. Quit the name calling it’s corny. Secondly, who are YOU as a human who cannot even control what time you wake up; to question GOD. Before questioning God you should know he loves you. If you cannot accept that, you can never UNDERSTAND some of the things like evil, and free will. How do you get to know God? You read Genesis. Right on up to numbers and beyond. Read the Bible. But even BEFROE that understand that as sure as GOD is real, so is HELL. Many Christians have stopped telling the world about Hell for acceptance. I won’t because HELL is the worse thing you can think of and even worse than that. Don’t take my tone for anger, nor rude if it is my bad. But you asked a logical question but how you ask it is DANGEROUS. Thing is at the end of your life, GOD believes in you. And your choices. And your free will. So rightfully so, if you choose to reject HIM and Jesus, you will get what you wanted, to spend eternity in torment and hell. I can’t sugarcoat it nor will I though it’s popular to do.
      God loves you. I hope you love yourself enough to think about this. Not criticizing you even if you drink all those cans of beer and your family drives you crazy, God still loves you. Jesus Loves you. Learn their love by reading the Bible bro. Peace.

    In this current time, what is the PRIMARY role of the Holy Spirit? John 16:8 tells us clearly: "When He comes, He will convict the world about sin, righteousness, and judgment ..." *YET* we are told at Genesis 6:3 “My Spirit will not remain with humankind forever, since they are flesh." Therefore, G-d has decided upon a time when He will instruct the Holy Spirit to cease convicting the world about sin -- and when He ceases this conviction, the result is UNRESTRAINED sin, which produces a time that is ripe for the Man of Lawlessness to arise. Therefore, the Holy Spirit is the "Restrainer" of 2 Thess. 2, but it is *NEVER* stated that He will be "taken away," only that He will *CEASE TO RESTRAIN.*

    • @truecolors5662
      @truecolors5662 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Suzanne Baruch Romans tells us God turns folks.over to a reprobate mind to do all evil... There has always been unrestrained sin. Its Jesus who hasnt unlocked the seal 1 in revelation for the Anti Christ to be reveal. Its Jesus who has the Keys to the bottomless pit , its Jesus they kept satan from entering Judas till his time. Jesus told satan what he could do with Job. The restrainer is the Lord Jesus and only he is worthy to unloose the 1st seal of Revelation so the anti Chrisy can be revealed

    • @SuzanneBaruch
      @SuzanneBaruch 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      True Colors, what Romans talks about is G-d's reaction as *INDIVIDUALS* turn from Him. At Ephesians 2:1-5, Paul wrote that we lived exactly as they did, with reprobate minds. But with G-d's grace, we were saved. The initial act of salvation is G-d's, not ours. This is a key concept of Soteriology, and an issue you aren't taking into account.
      Yet, at Genesis 6:3, G-d explains this will not always be the way -- He will not always wrestle with humankind forever regarding their sins. That is the day Paul wrote about at 2 Thes. 2:6-7 when he referred to the "Restrainer." As I wrote above, John 16:8-11 *PROVES* Who the Restrainer is:
      8 “When He comes, He will convict the world about sin, righteousness, and judgment: 9 concerning sin, because they do not believe in Me; 10 concerning righteousness, because I am going to the Father and you will no longer see Me; 11 and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.
      When someone realizes they are committing sin and behaving unrighteously, ESPECIALLY when they have done so by rejecting Yeshua, this realization is placed in their minds by the Holy Spirit; this is how sin has been restrained since the time He has been with us.
      But as Paul goes on to write, there will come a time when unsaved humanity is *incapable* of believing, because G-d has set them aside for judgement. This is the difference between what Paul wrote about at Romans Chapter 1 and 2 Thes. 2.

    • @truecolors5662
      @truecolors5662 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Suzanne Baruch the problem with your theory is when Jesus opens seal 1 the anti Christ gets his crown and he goes to conquer and kill believers but during this time bible says many our Saved....Daniel 11:33 and they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days..... So obviously the Holy Spirit is still convicting people after the anti Christ has been revealed .so the restrainer cant be as you claim.

      True Colors - Pace be with you. Why do you use Jesus instead of Christ? Jesus was a man. Christ is a Spirit. Christ will again appear to man to show man how he denied him since man was born. Man is only told of Christ, and man only speaks of Christ, but man believes Jesus is Christ, yet Christ is your Father, the Holy One whom dwells in all mankind, in the most high place of your temple. His name was changed from the old testament, but our living God has many names. And if man does not know his God living within him, man is considered antichrist. As such, the dead in Christ will rise first. Man is the walking dead until he finds his God that dwells within him. Jesus taught that. Or was "I AM the Way" thought to be Jesus words instead of He who sent Jesus? Was Jesus message that difficult to understand, or did people choose to go with the disciples who didn't get what Jesus was teaching? Our God did not make things complicated, but he did say he would confound man in man's reasoning. Our God gave us One mind, yet this world has many. These books in the bible all tell us the same thing yet we cannot recognize it because man looks outward rather than inward. The living God within knows our thoughts. He knows our desires whether they be for him or for Satan. And from what my LORD has witnessed with me, this world is lost. This world is deceived. But man can return to his God who gives eternal life. It is all written in those books. The Holy Spirit of Eternity, or Christ, if you will, is your savior. He dwells within. There is no other god before Him. Seek the living water. Peace be with you.

    Many will not recognize him. Because the church is a respecter of persons. And they love to adore men. And they're looking for the wrong signs. There is no rapture. There is a gathering in the air after the tribulation, on the Great and Dreadful day of the Lord. Jesus said the kingdom of heaven is gained through tribulation. But the church today teaches we will be taken out of it. They do lie.
    Jesus said the tears are gathered first. Not the wheat. He also commands that his angels that they not gather any until the Harvest at the end period at the last trump.
    The verses that are taken out of context do not support a pre-tribulation rapture. To say to the church at Smyrna that they will be kept from the hour of temptation, temptation is not Tribulation. And to say we are not appointed to God's Wrath is true. But the tribulation is not God's Wrath on his people.

    My pastor taught, "Use some critical thinking. The bible says, 'pray that he will find you worthy to ESCAPE...' That doesn't sound like Jesus is going to let his BRIDE SUFFER! Who would want to marry a man that does not demonstrate that he will protect her!" - Jesus takes his bride (wife) home and then the anti-Christ comes on the scene to "explain" the dissapearence of millions of people. As it is written, (paraphrased) "You will know the SIGNS of the end times: earthquakes in diverse places, the sea roaring, etc... (taking place all at the same time) When you see this GET READY, his return is NEAR!"

    The Party (last edit 7/5/2017)
    Imagine that on Saturday you make a reservation with one of the entertainment facilities that provides for children. You plan a party for your child and his friends. You pay the fee and the appointed time is set for one week away early on Saturday morning. You tell your child that there is a party planned for him and his friends. You do not tell him the exact appointment time. You want him to go about his activities and be motivated by the hope of going to the party. You tell him to invite his friends.
    The child is curious and impatient and asks when the party will start. You do not tell him the exact time but say that there are some other things that must happen first and the party will happen at the appointment time. “You have to go to school first and study your lessons. Other things are going to happen first, especially on the day before the party.” Then you tell the child what some of the other things are and especially those things that will take place on the day before the party.
    Some of your child’s friends find out about the planned party. Their imaginations run wild. They tell your child that the party could happen at any time. They think it is imminent. Your child says, “No, it is not going to happen at just any moment. It will happen at the appointment time. That is what my father told me and I believe him”
    Late on Friday, the day before the party, the friends say to the child, “Now the party can start at any time because all the things your father said would happen have already happened. It is imminent.”
    The child responded, “There is one thing my father said would happen on the day before the party that has not yet been revealed. So it is not imminent. My father always tells the truth. One more thing must happen today then the party will be at the appointed time tomorrow.”
    This story of the party is the story of the rapture. An incorrect teaching and belief that the Lord’s Kingdom was imminent actually took place while Jesus was still on the earth after His resurrection ! It is recorded in our Bibles. In my 40 years of Bible study I’ve never heard one sermon or one teaching about it. Not even in prophecy studies !
    In John chapter 21 verses 15-23, Jesus is drawing Peter to follow Him. Peter tries to change the subject and speaks of John who is there and says, “What about this man?”
    In a polite way Jesus in effect tells him forget about John this is between me and you.
    The exact words in verse 22 are
    “If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you? You follow me.”
    This caused a false belief and teaching by the very Apostles themselves! They began to teach that Jesus would return before John would die. In other words they were teaching that the return of Christ was imminent.
    This was an incorrect teaching and God dealt with it by having John correct it in the writings we have in our Bibles in the book of John. Verse 22 has the Lord’s words that were misinterpreted.
    The very next verse, verse 23, makes the correction. It says,
    “Then this saying went out among the brethren that this disciple would not die. Yet Jesus did not say to him that he would not die, but, “If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you?”
    The incorrect teaching of the Lord’s return being imminent crept into the church early in its history. It was even believed and taught by the very Apostles themselves. God corrected that error and recorded it in our Bibles. Why did God bother to record it for us to read in our day?
    Perhaps it was because He knew that near the time of Christ’s return the incorrect teaching of it being imminent would once again be a problem.
    The return of Christ to resurrect His Church and to rapture the living believers has never been imminent throughout the history of the Church. Consider just a few of the things that had to happen before Christ would return. Peter would die a martyr’s death by being crucified. Jesus told him this on the same occasion that is recorded in John chapter 21 that we just looked at.
    The temple would be destroyed. Israel would be destroyed as a nation and the survivors scattered throughout the world. Gentiles would control Jerusalem until close to the time of the Lord’s return. Israel would once again become a nation. Israel would regain control of Jerusalem.
    The gospel would be preached in all the world. The nations surrounding Israel would unite together in calling for her destruction. There would be a falling away from God and from the truth of His teachings.
    That brings us up to today. During none of those over 1900 years has the Lord’s return been imminent. It could not happen at just any time. All of the events mentioned above and others had to be completed before the appointed time for the return would come.
    It has been taught for the past many decades that all events foretold to happen before the Lord’s return have taken place and He could return at any moment. That is not true. There is at least one major event that must take place before the Lord’s return for the resurrection and rapture. Even after that event the exact day and hour of the Lord’s return will not be known to us. It will take place at the appointed time.
    We have a prophetic verse that tells us of two things that must happen before the resurrection of the Church and the rapture. One of those things is the ‘falling away.’ This is the falling away from God in general and in the falling away from teaching the true doctrines of the Bible. We can see that falling away taking place today.
    Before looking at the second thing that must take place before the resurrection and rapture lets look at the situation with the Church at Thessalonica. Paul had been there and helped them. While he was there he taught them about the resurrection and rapture. After he left, someone by letter or word convinced the Church there that they had missed the resurrection and rapture. In other words they had been ‘left behind.’ In his second letter to Timothy, Paul identified two men who were falsely teaching that ‘the resurrection is already past: and they overthrow the faith of some.’ See 2 Timothy 2:17-18. This was a very serious problem.
    As you can imagine, the Church at Thessalonica was very upset about this and wrote to Paul asking for help. Paul told them God would ‘repay with tribulation those who trouble you.’
    In chapter 2 verses 1-3 Paul tells them that two things that had not yet happened in their time had to happen before the resurrection and rapture.
    1 Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you,
    2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come.
    3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed....
    So the two things Paul told them that had not happened yet were 1. the falling away and 2. the man of sin must be revealed. In verse 5 he reminds them that he taught them these things when he was with them. See how easy it is for Church members to be lead astray by false teaching?
    In our time the falling away is taking place. The man of sin (the Antichrist that Paul goes on to talk about in the rest of chapter 2) has not yet been revealed. These verses show us that the Antichrist must be revealed before the resurrection and rapture of the church.
    Some would argue that the verse that tells us no man knows the day or the hour prevents this from being true. No it doesn’t. The Antichrist can be revealed and then there can be some amount of time before the 7 year peace plan is made and begins. During that time the resurrection and rapture can take place and no one will know what day it is going to be.
    So what is the danger of the incorrect teaching that the rapture is imminent and no events remain before it can take place? Remember Paul said of those who were teaching that they overthrew the faith of some. Think about it. Today if a man came on the scene who was clearly the Antichrist and recognized by Christians what would they think?
    Many would think they had been ‘left behind’ just like the people at Thessalonica. It would trouble them and it might even ‘overthrow’ their faith. Some might turn their back on their faith. Some might commit suicide. Who knows all the harm it might cause.
    Look closely at what Paul said about this ‘man of sin.’ It says he must be revealed. What he does not say is just as important. Paul did not say he must be in power yet or have made a 7 year peace treaty with Israel yet. Only that he must be revealed. Think about it this way. Every 4 years the US elects a new president. The election takes place in November and the winner is revealed. The winner becomes known to everyone. Yet the winner does not take office until some time later in January. It is only then that he has power to do things. Perhaps that is the way it will be when the Antichrist is revealed.
    So dear brother or sister in Christ, if you are around when the Antichrist is revealed do not panic. You have not been ‘left behind.’ Remember the Church at Thessalonica and what God had to say to them through Paul. Once the Man of Sin is revealed then the rapture will take place sometime before the Abomination of Desolation. Read Mark 13 - that is when our Lord Jesus says the Tribulation will begin.

    Go read Matthew 24 in context. You will find out that you will be hated by all nations, imprisoned, and killed. Then immediately after the tribulation, Jesus comes back, takes his bride away, and then pours out judgement on the world. The tribulation is meant to purify and refine his bride. He doesn't want fair weather believers who aren't willing to suffer for him getting an easy ride out. So if you don't want to go through the tribulation, resist corruption, deception, oppression, and tyranny!

    2 Thess 2:1-3.“ Paul tells the people that the coming of the Lord comes after the falling away and the man of sin is revealed. Paul tells Thess. because they’re concerned that they’ve missed Jesus’ return and rapture of the saints; one event. Paul gives Thess. 2 identifying events to look for that occurs before the Lord comes; one is the revealing of the lawless one.
    In addition Revelation 13 gives symbolism that refers to beast, tells you to let him that has wisdom calculate the number of the beast. Yes, the saints can know before the “rapture.”

    There's a lot of controversy with the idea of the rapture, some people think Christians are gonna go through the tribulation aswell but God is gonna keep us safe I think its called the mid-tribulation and the idea of Christians gonna get caught up to be with Christ before the tribulation starts is the pre-tribulation. Incase anyone doesn't know.

      Exactly. You will need this to overcome.
      Here is how to count the number of the beast. You must be in the KJV Bible to get the correct translation. The number of the beast is 313 and not 666. Must unveil the word number SIX HUNDRED THREESCORE AND SIX to get the hidden manna.
      Rev.13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
      God didn't say the number is 666. God said the number is SIX HUNDRED THREESCORE AND SIX and to count it. In order to count the number we must assign a number to each letter in SIX HUNDRED THREESCORE AND SIX and add it up to get the number of the beast. Once we have the number then we match it to a man name. We use simple English gematria to assign a number to each letter in the alphabet.
      Simple English Gematra A=1----------Z=26
      SIX HUNDRED THREESCORE AND SIX = 19+9+24 + 8+21+14+4+18+5+4 + 20+8+18+5+5+19+3+15+18+5 + 1+14+4 + 19+9+24 = 313
      VLADIMIR VLADIMIROVICH PUTIN = 22+12+1+4+9+13+9+18 + 22+12+1+4+9+13+9+18+15+22+9+3+8 + 16+21+20+9+14 = 313
      God said count the number so we have 26 letters in the number. We need to count TWENTY AND SIX to get his birth date.
      TWENTY =107 AND=19 SIX=52
      TWENTY = 20+23+5+14+20+25 = 107
      AND = 1+14+4 = 19
      SIX = 19+9+24 = 52
      10-7-1952 President Putin birth date and is the beast of Rev.13:18
      Pope Francis has the same number and is the false prophet. He became the Pope on 3-13-2013 which is the number of the beast 313.

    I agree. We will be here for the 7 trumpets, but not the 7 bowls of Gods wrath, Paul says that, "For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ". There is a difference in perseverance thru tribulation and the suffering of the 7 bowls of God's punishment on the wicked, one is a period of testing, the other is a period of his justice and punishment. I believe Job and Psalms also references this,
    " From six calamities he will rescue you; in seven no harm will touch you." And
    "A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.
    You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. If you say, “The LORD is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent."
    I'd also recommend the understanding of Revelation 12 as further scripture to back this up.
    The woman that gives birth is the heavenly Jerusalem. There is no other "mother" Paul describes. "All your children will be taught by the Lord, and great will be their peace".
    This mother delivers a son, this fulfills Isaiah 66, as Paul states "but the Jerusalem that IS ABOVE (👆) is free AND SHE IS OUR MOTHER". Paul quotes Isaiah 54 as scriptural proof of his statement, but the prophecy about the mother does not stop there, that is a continuous theme until the end of the book of Isaiah, which comes to the point of birth, she delivers a son that is also referenced as nation and a country, (you are all one IN CHRIST). Read Isaiah 66, it's singular AND plural.
    Jump ahead to revelation 12, the woman (12 tribes as a crown, clothed in the glory of God, with SATAN under her feet) delivers a son that is caught up to heaven, I challenge you to find another reference to the very definition of rapture any where else.
    Immediately after that, the heavens break out in war, this reminds me of the prophecy of Ezekiel to "the vast army", the valley of dry bones that is brought back to life.
    Satan is THEN and ONLY then, cast down for good with his angels. Then the beast appears.
    As for our mother, Heavenly Jerusalem, PLEASE understand this, "a man will leave his mother and father and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become 1 flesh, this is a PROFOUND MYSTERY, but I am speaking of CHRIST and the CHURCH, (BODY)".
    This is my understanding of Paul's mystery.
    A man, (the life giving spirit, the 2nd Adam of 1 Cor. 15) will leave his mother and father, (God and the heavenly Jerusalem), and be joined to his wife, (spirit and body, married to the spirit, the bride), and the two shall become 1, Paul repeatedly tries to illustrate marriage as how the spirit and flesh are one, the flesh acts out and performs what the spirit desires, (the woman you put here with me deceived me and I ate); (the SPIRIT is willing, but the FLESH is WEAK).
    GOD BLESS

    Will Christians be able to identify the Antichrist before the rapture? One could look back and ask the question: Did the Jews identify the Messiah when He came?" Most of them knew about the coming of the Messiah foretold in the old Testament. But when Christ came, He was not "the kind of Messiah" they were expecting to see ....

    Satan is restrained now because he has 42 months that are for him to proclaim he is God. Until then he is restrained by God. But none the less, he will be revealed before the great gathering takes place. This is biblical, no reason for teaching otherwise.

    This is why I think almost all of today's prophecy teachers have it wrong -
    they do not understand what is meant by THE DAY OF THE LORD.
    It causes them to interpret 2nd Thess incorrectly.
    Those believes were scared - they thought they had missed the ressurection and rapture of the Church -and been left behind. If day of the Lord meant when Jesus comes to rule the world those believers would have been rejoicing that Jesus was back and not have been afraid.
    So Paul told them 2 things had to happen first before the rapture. They were 2 things those believers could confirm for themselves - One - there must be a falling away - an apostasy - they church was growing and not falling away. Two- the Man of Sin must be revealed - and they knew that had not happened.
    Read my other post about THE PARTY for more details.

    With what I am about to say is just pure opinion with some bible knowledge. I think the best way for Christians to identifying the anti christ is first to know God and Jesus Christ. What they are like and how they are.
    This alone will help you know as far who is the real Jesus and who is fake in the days that the anti christ will reign.

      +Truth Warrior The "restrainer", to use your un-KJV term, is GOD. God allows or disallows everything. And He allows the man of sin to continue UNTIL HE is cast into the lake of fire by Jesus.

      +Truth Warrior What did I just say? The passage of 2 Thess 2 is talking about THE MYSTERY OF INIQUITY. The word "restrain" is NOT in the KJV. The word used is "letteth". [God] who letteth, will letteth [INIQUITY] continue until HE, THE MAN OF SIN, is taken out of the way. It's NOT a rapture verse. Unless you believe that iniquity will stop after the church is gone.

    Wow...they don't care about what Yeshua said in Matthew 24:15-16 (NJB)
    15
    ‘So when you see the appalling abomination, of which the prophet Daniel spoke, set up in the holy place (let the reader understand), 16 then those in Judaea must escape to the mountains;
    The catching away follows this, as stated in Matthew 24:30-31 (NJB)
    30 And then the sign of the Son of man will appear in heaven; then, too, all the peoples of the earth will beat their breasts; and they will see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
    31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet to gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
    They read Chapter and Verse on;y from Darby and Scofields notes...how sad.

    There's a falling away first ( rapture). The restrainer is the church. Therefore the anti christ comes after.

  • @Gina1809085
    @Gina1809085 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Yeah considering the Bible says in reference to the second coming 2 Thes. 2 says that time will not come unless there come a falling away first and that man of sin be revealed" so we will ni it be raptured before the antichrist comes to power and proclaims himself God.

  • @Thomas-fi6kh
    @Thomas-fi6kh 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    The revelation of Jesus Christ is in two stages, first coming and then second coming, so it is possible the revealing of Antichrist is in two stages too, one prior to rapture, and one after the rapture.
