"Chase me" was their debut, released on January 13th (a Friday), 2017. It must have been nerve-wrecking for the members, re-debuting with a genre that is not popular in Korea after Minx failed. (5 of them were Minx before.) But they already doubled their sales with this. And they stuck with the Rock/Metal vibe until today, now selling 50 times the albums than Minx did. This is the start of the Nightmare arc, which spans 6 MVs and 1 Japanese release. They are Nightmares here, and the Nightmare hunter is trying to dispel them - how that turns out is shown in the next one, Good Night. Their dance costume here is like a shortened Yukata, except wrapped right over left, something that's usually only done for the deceased. Fits well into the horror concept! Remember the ending here for when you react to Good Night!
Ok, you said no spoilers so I'll just say that his motivations will be revealed in the next video, "Goodnight". And then, in "Fly High" it is a prequel which happens before "Chase Me" and shows how they became the way that they are, I'll leave it at that. ^_^ Glad you're enjoying Dreamcatcher! I'm having so much fun watching your reactions. Thank you for sharing your journey with InSomnia! ❤
No Spoilers but you did a good job catching some of the details you spoke about. The whole Nightmare arc covers 7 total MVs but it's technically broken into two parts. Part one is Chase Me, Good Night, and Fly High (which is a prequel) and part two is You & I, What, Piri, & Breaking Out. I found Dreamcatcher in late 2020 with their song Scream and my reaction to it was pretty much the same as your reaction to Justice. I was blown away and they immediately caught my attention so I started working through their title tracks. Then I found my holy trinity of Dreamcatcher covers which are Siyeon's Speechless cover, Yoohyeon's Secret Love Song cover , & Sua's Copycat cover. Three very different songs that I never really cared for but when I heard their versions I immediately fell in love with them. Those three covers are what made me decide to dig deeper into their discography (which is SUPER diverse) and I've never looked back. 4 Years later and DC is hands down my favorite group of all time. They're always doing something new, the vocals are always immaculate, and the music is always great. The icing on the cake are the girls themselves. They're incredibly relatable and humble, they love what they do, and they LOVE InSomnia (the fans). They've had a hard road to get to where they are and they are forever grateful to the fans and always let us know how much we mean to them. Looking forward to your journey, its honestly the best.
Definitely, Dreamcatcher are the queens of covers! Those songs for me are "Lucky Strike" (Maroon 5) and "There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back" (Shawn Mendes). But they're all amazing!
Idk where you're located, but if you're in the US, they're touring this Fall!!! I'm going to be at the LA show and I'm SO STOKED. Edit: Girl, it's YOUR channel, fangirl as much as you want!!! We're the last ones to judge hahaha

DC is really the most outstanding girl group in so many ways. You should listen/react to their live performances.
When you listen to the next song, Good Night, listen to the intro song, My Toys, at the same time.
