    Yes, it is the best motorcycle for road trips. Just stop telling people. You and Shadetree are gonna drive the prices up!😁

      Lol! I’m so thankful for him for making me look at these. I can’t believe how much I love these bikes and how available they are. Goldwing never even crossed my mind before his videos

    If I had a nickel for every tech glitch I’ve had so far with Motovlogging I’d have a dollar, nice recovery though I might borrow that play for the future! Congrats on the new bike!

    I met a guy last Sunday at a little hole in the wall bar & grill in the middle of nowhere Bibo, New Mexico who was riding a GL-1500 that was a barn find. The bike looked new and he said he snagged it for $2k…… what a find! That bike was stunningly beautiful.

    I have a 98 Gold Wing for 20 years with no problems. I recently met a man with a 93 Wing that had 377,000 miles on it. They will run forever.

      These tech issues on this video kept piling on! I’m usually pretty good about not creating my own problems but not this day. Try a voice over and see how that suits your video. Cheers 🍻

    You do not have to remove that front panel to get to the filter you can get it from the bottom. If you have a belly pan on the bike you would have to remove that. On my bike the belly pan is two piece, 3 aircraft type screws and it comes off.

    Again, kindred spirits, love it man. The same experience for me except with another brand. I’ve had Harley’s and loved them. But once u spend very little on something so wonderful there’s no way to explain it. It’s about having something capable of doing a real trip over and over and not adding a staggering payment to the budget. I have a “paid for” BMW now better then the three Harleys of my past. No regrets!

      That's amazing man. I took several long trips on my road glide when I had it. In my younger days I went on a few on my little sportster. I'm really looking forward to some miles on this 1500. Just my little 100 mile ride 2 weeks ago was the most comfortable I've ever been on a motorcycle.

      @@UncleBogator yeah next year headed out to California and then up to Washington state back through Arizona. Take two weeks on the road again somewhere near September.
      I’m a little over 60 years old and enjoy the time on the bike. Want to get more into camping and spending more time at each location. But that will have to wait till after I retire. Again stay safe

    Nice video ! You’ll love the GL1500 . They’re easy enough to work on , and cheap ! I miss my Electra Glide ( took out by a cager ), but for the very small amount of money I have in the GL1500, I’m happy . When I look at the other bikes out there that cost the same , I’ve got 10X the bike for the same money .

    • @UncleBogator
      @UncleBogator  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If I ever get a Harley again it will probably a full dresser. I love this 1500 and can’t wait to get it on some longer trips.

    Congrats on the new bike. I just went from a 1200 to a 1500 on my channel also. Hopefully you don't end up needing to do the dreaded rear master rebuild. I just shot videos on how to remove the rear master (known to be a PITA) and another on how to bleed the system, (also known to be a PITA). I'll drop a link above, maybe it will help. Ride safe...

    • @UncleBogator
      @UncleBogator  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey man I appreciate it. I’m going to try a bleed first and hopefully that fixes it.

    • @gosolobox
      @gosolobox 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@UncleBogator The piston inside of mine was seized in place and probably could have been fixed with a shot of air at the banjo bolt to get it moving again. I didn't realize what the issue was till I had it on the bench for rebuild anyway. You don't want to remove the master from the bike if you can avoid it..
