I am very new to Krita but can follow along just fine. What I would like to know is, why the selection mask does not come on when I use the contiguous tool? Kindly, Ramona
could you do another, or maybe re-explain this one? i tried to follow along but some of the stuff didn't work and i notice there's a couple times you do something and don't say anything (like you already have a second layer which i think messed a lot of people up, especially when trying to do the shadow)
@@raghukamath i understand that but when I tried to add the white space between the triangles it didn’t work. Do you know how to add the tiny white space on a Mac? I couldn’t find any other tutorials on it through the Mac:(
I got stuck if anyone knows why, I'm new to digital drawing. I got to the part where he started painting along the guidelines and I could no longer add any paint to the image. I tried deleting the layer and starting again, I made sure all the specs matched, the eraser is off, I even tried adding a new layer but I couldn't add paint anywhere and my husband and I could not figure out why.
Love this tutorial, I am having a great time following along! I am struggling though around 13:16, after I do ctrl+t and readjust my lemon slice, when I hit enter the drop shadow stays in the original position, floating above where I moved the slice. Any ideas why this may be? Thanks! Instantly subsrcibed!
It might be a glitch, can you try to hide unhide the transparency mask or the entire layer. You can also enable disable the effect to force it to re render.
I wont comment on any video but i feel like doin here...its such great video for beginners and so easy n clear to follow the steps and sure outcome will be good ,please make more such videos sir.
I am stuck at that multibrush part. I can get the snowflake guidelines to show up but nothing I do after that will allow me to draw anything. Not sure what you press to de-select the edges right before that.
Aah it is my mistake I should have shown the shortcut on the screen. Next time I will keep that in mind. You can press Ctrl + Shift + A to deselect the selection
@@raghukamath Thank you for the reply. I might try again tomorrow, got too frustrated to continue today. I think it would be a good idea to do some tutorials with only menus and no keyboard shortcuts to show a different workflow.

Check if you have "Show global selection mask" enabled in the select menu

Hey thanks for the valuable feedback. I will try to be more mindful of small actions like that while narrating the tutorial in the next one.
nice video :)
How do you add the lines in the lemon? I’m on a Mac
the partitions and lines were added using the multibrush tool. it is the tool with three brush in the icon.

How do you paint over the guide lines?
Do you mean the partitions on the slice? Those are the guide lines of the multibrush tool. We can paint over them normally.
This is very helpful. Thank you!
Thank you 🙏🏼
can I post this in DeviantArt after drawing it?
Sure you can post your drawing.
