    I've been watching everything I could find about repairing / restoring 924s, and your videos have been by far the most helpful, so glad I found your channel.

    I’ve just bought a 1978 base 924 as a project car. It runs, but it’s rough. I plan to go through all of the steps you went through in this series. I haven’t changed car oil before last week, but your videos give me confidence I may be able to do this. Huge thanks for these videos and clear instructions.

    Hey Sean, great video. I may have missed the answer to this question in a past video but what is the goal with this car? Are you going to keep it or sell it? It seems like it needs quite a bit of work and your investing a lot of time and money. Or are you just fiddling around with it for fun win or lose? It was interesting how you tested the injectors, I have to keep that in mind. Ive used the Seafoam stuff on a Subaru I had once and it worked wonders, great stuff. Very informative, thanks, Nick

      Vintage Thunderbird Repair Hi Nick! I’m planning on selling this one, unless I really fall in love with the car. These injection systems are really just a glorified carburetor (once I understood how they work).

    I'm not a betting man, but if I were, I'd lay odds the oil light is wiring related...the wiring was a MESS.

      Chris Drake That’s what I’m thinking as well. When it comes on, so does the brake light, which makes me think there’s a common ground problem. Now...to find it!

    By what did you replace the hoses? Are special replacement kits?

    • @AutoAnatomy
      @AutoAnatomy  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I had several spools of vacuum hose from a previous job, and just cut new hose to length. Thanks for watching!

      @@AutoAnatomy i guess, if i deduct the cost of respray or paint it wud cost similar, i will offer the guy $2500 and see it he agrees, it seems to me that he is unable to sell the car for over a month.
