Rabia please review the following novels 1) Karakoram ka taj mahal by nemrah ahmed 2) sans sakin thi by nemrah ahmed 3) Amarbail by umera ahmed 4) Aks by umera ahmed 5) Wo jo karz rakhte the by farhat ishtiaq 6) Beli rajpoot ki malka by nemrah ahmed 7) Paris by nemrah ahmed 8) Bachpan ka December by hashim nadeem 9) Hasil by umera ahmed 10) La hasil by umerah ahmed 11) Mere khwabon mere jugnu Love your reviews and would really look forward for these books as well
The Author, Lauren Roberts mentioned that this book is for the fans of Red Queen and The hunger Games. She has acknowledged that the themes are very similar to these two books so I honestly wouldn't call this a cheap spin off because even through the central themes are inspired by the two books, Powerless has a different feel to it. The main couple have so much chemistry and they respect each other which I like a lot.
In no way does Luaren build or inspire anything from Red Queen or Hunger Games aside from butchering their commentary on minority classes and societal greed and punishment. Pea being a thief? Mare. Trials? A rip off of the Games, Harry Potter, and Thrown of glass. In fact, Luaren cant even properly explain the point of her OWN trials. Why do the Elite children kill one another? In what way does that benefit anyone? Thats like Hunger Games Capitol children particpating with district kids. I think the only reason this book feels different is because it severely lacked an editor and proper world building. The writing is juvenile at best and reflecting wattpad grammar at worst.
Readings (Lahore's bookstore with online presence too) has great quality books. I have bought from them multiple times. The Hunger Games is one of my all time favourite series, I'm definitely gonna read Powerless. Lauren Roberts claims to have written it when she was 18 years old.
I mean I dunno whether It's pirated or original but apne purani Dilli me book market is actually too cheap Alhamdulillah ( everything for 100 or max 200 ) 😂
I think you will enjoy the story if you read Powerful and then read Reckless...(as powerful is adena's pov you will enjoy it )also Reckless is far more different than Powerless..will wait for the review..♡
If you can find it, I would recommend reading Raptor by Garry Jennings. It's 900 pages and is very graphic at times but I found it an unforgettable read. The main character is also very unique.
Honestly after seeing the full video...I am shocked about one thing how is Pakistan's economy even working....🇵🇰🇵🇰 You really bought this book for almost 3000+ how is that even acceptable we get this kind of quality in India at 200 and if you are buying original it costs 500 max....🇮🇳🇮🇳and that too at AMAZON!!!! I really really would love you to read we hunt the flame it's not hunger game like but the author weaves the characters so well that you get attached with each one of them and though the premise is different there are some similarities with Powerless the girl being a common girl and the guy being the prince of the state
Plz read Six of crows Fourth wing Shatter me series Reckless and powerful(you'll get attached to Adena) Kingdom of wicked series Dance of thieves Red queen
omg i just finished this book yesterday ! i clicked on this video so fast hehe. loved powerless sm it took me back to old YA fantasy days when books became popular not because of spice but the actual plot and charachters . *cough* fourth wing *cough* i think you will love the ember in the ashes quartet by Saba taahir (one of my all time favs) sands of awariyah duology by hafsah faizal as well coz the world🤌the charchters and everything is just chefs kiss
