      Farouq Omara - Mayanmar is not a poor country. The GDP per capita for Mayanmar : $5590, India : $2726, Pakistan : $1513. I have been there last year. Been to many places, including Bahadur Shah Zafor's tomb in Yangoon. Cities are very clean (unlike the places in Indian sub-continent). People are very friendly. Have seen many mosques. Never heard of any religious intolerance. By the way, 4% of Myanmar's population are Muslims.

    • @the_kingof_pop3858
      @the_kingof_pop3858 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@asaber999 well, Myanmar's GDP per capita (Nominal) is $1500. Not $5500. That's the per capita ppp.
      India's per capita gdp Nominal is 2750$ and per capita ppp is $7700.

    As I've commented before, your tours which highlight the local architecture, and their history, are very entertaining.
    I would enjoy more of your upcoming videos, if you would walk through more of the Fresh food markets,... their history, and maybe get your wife to point out exotic foods, how much they cost, and what local recipes they would be used in.
    To me it is fascinating that they are not found here in the eastern U.S. Grocery stores, or farmer's markets. Thank You So Very Much.
    Please keep the videos coming.
    Oh, I've also noticed that very few people need to wear eye glasses, nor wear sun glasses. For such a tropical, sunny nation, I would think more people would wear sunglasses. LOL Maybe it's just me, and my American way of thinking...

      kyle wolfe I’m Burmese, living in Ireland. I never wear sunglasses because they make the world seem dull in my eyes. And besides, I end up looking like a Triad gang member when I put one on.

    Hi. Just to say that it is almost impossible to watch this Video with unstabilised images flashing rapidly across the screen , very tiresome for the eyes. For readers of older generation, Yangon is the new name of Ramgoon , the Capital of Burma, now Myanmar . Regards. Jpier.

      traditionally its considered beautiful and also cooling for the skin in such hot weather. Its like clothes for the face. In the past, especially my grandmother's time, people feel bare and naked without it.

    This is stupid video, too much rush to show many things in a short video, too much fast forwarded actions, all the roads we see, are full of traffic, noise and I am sure pollution, every footpath, even the footover bridge, is taken over by squatters, selling unhygienic food items. vehicles are parked in most stupid manner, and there is never a "TAMIL" temple, it is Hindu temple with Tamil architecture. this video has made sure that I will never visit Yangon or Myanmar
