If one questions the creation of all the living being, that itself is a marvel. I do not think Sage Valmiki has any purpose in showing Ravana etc in different lights other than his original form. Hence we could simply accept the 10 heads and move on. What is really the key is what education to our life. Every creation is a wonder and in that any change is possible by the Devine if this acceptance cannot come we cannot proceed and will get stuck in peripherals.
Eating meat or vegetable, we need to kill crores of life and only difference is their intelligence levels. Today science show how a Tree feels when some one plugs a fruit in adjacent plant. They feel painful and scared. if we drink water millions of life is also drunken.
But many will be going after peripherals only and not the crux hence it is a challenge for Upanyasakas
