The golden bat rule is absolutely stupid why would anybody want to ruin something that's been perfectly operated for over 100 years to appease new generational fans (especially the ones that don't play)?
What if they do that though and say someone like Judge or Harper's up there and they end up injured because they already might've batted two or three batters before they're up again? For that it's a no for me.

Golden at-bat is stupid. We don't need gimmicks to liven up the MLB. Stick to the rules of the game we know. The league is getting the strikeouts w/ 100mph pitches, and HRs that it wants. They need to encourage players to have some marketable personality. I'll watch a game that ends 2-1 and the whole game was smallball if the players were fun and engaging, not necessarily brash and attention-seeking, but someone the fans have gotten to know and like. Jaylon Johnson is like that for the Bears. We had a personal connection to Anthony Rizzo by 2016 because he made appearances, had some personality, and showed up at Lurie Children's hospital.
