    love that TV! I had the Q900A and thought the picture was perfect, but had a burn in issue with that panel. To be fair, burn in on a mini led was very rare (from what the rep said at Samsung. They purchased my TV back for inspection and in the market for another TV. Im excited about the lineup of TV's this year and also wanted to put a shout out that you should purchase your next TV through Value Electronics. Wendy was great with my last purchase and they are all about customer service! Looking forward to your shoot out this weekend!

    I loved the qn95a but it's local dimming let it down now and then and especially on game mode if the 800c doesn't have that problem then I'd be really interested, such a bright vivid TV with great the best led blacks and stunning HDR impact

    • @nafnaf0
      @nafnaf0 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I am not sure if it applies to the 800C or not, but the QN800B had a significantly smaller color gamut than the QN900B. This may not matter at all to many people, but just one thing to be aware of. Rtings will have their review and then we can see. I believe the QN90C will be somewhat than the QN800C, again the Rtings reviews will tell

    Hey Brian ..
    So i currently own this tv ..
    And i have mixed feelings about it ..since my old tv is a A95K 65
    The sony upscales regular tv box content alot better than qn900c
    But as soon as you do some gaming ..netflix . Or 8k youtube ..everything changes at 85 inch.you deffenatly see the difference ..yes the oled has stronger colors and black levels ..but trust me this is on another level when we talk about details ..its simply mindblowing ..but why im having issues with everyday content . It looks blurred and not very sharp on the tv box but besides that ..i believe the qn900c is deffenatly a strong contender to the mighty Oled kings ...s95c and A95L ...great review Brian ❤

    I love this tv, the moment I saw it I knew I wanted it just like you mentioned Samsung does that on purpose lol. The display I saw was next to the S95C and the Sony Z9k and you can instantly see the difference with the QN900C and how gorgeous the picture looks, it just looks natural. Not a huge fan of the QD OLEDs because they don't look natural to me it seems those TV's make everything look fake while the mini LEDs don't just my personal opinion.

    Never use the standard mode, it has slightly raised black, it is like that, and it has no fix, filmmaker or movie are the modes you should use. Likewise, it leaves the tone mapping static, active it raises the brightness but also the detail in the shadows, losing contrast in the image

    I am definitely getting this model!! Since I do not live in a basement and my home is super well lit, I think this is the way to go. Never been a fan of OLED because they do not pop, are not bright enough, and you need a dark room to get the best picture. Not to mention they suck when it come to sports! Many people were having firmware issues with 2022 Samsung (as well as very bad slow OS in Tizen for the year) so if you can go 2023 with Samsung specifically you might be happier
      I’ve got S95C and Tizen on mine no issues at all
      Not sure the current state of the Z9K but other than those things I mentioned, price wise it’s a great time to buy

    I’ll never understand the fascination with the one connect box. Proprietary tech which if it breaks you can’t even use the tv outside of native apps. I wish they’d at least still make ports on the panel

    • @tears2040
      @tears2040 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      One connect was designed for tvs that mount flush on the wall. Advantage is easy access to all the hardware components and more importantly removes the added *Heat from the panel.
      Easy port access to plug/unplug devices while tv remaining flush on the wall.
      If the one connect box goes bad then it will get replaced, no different then if your tv ports go bad, same issue.

      @walidhannaoui1802 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@tears2040 I know what it was designed for but clearly not everyone is flush mounting hence the stand that Samsung provides. It makes for a clean look yes but an hdmi cable goes bad what do you do ? Overnight one from Amazon or go down the street to the electronics store and get one. One connect cable goes bad you have to put an order through samsung. Maybe put a service ticket in, maybe use your warranty, probably take you a few days just to even speak to a person. Who knows. Proprietary tech to be able to use your external devices on a consumer tv in 2023 shouldn’t even be a thing. Especially when you can’t even enjoy the performance of a certain model without being forced to use it

What would you recommend between the QN900c and Z9k, and why? I'm 30% streaming, 30% gaming and 40% 4k bluraying. Thank you in advance if you can answer would be much appreciated.

      Thank you so much, my friend! Very generous of you! The 900C is the better 8K TV and here is why. It can actually play 8K files and play 8K youtube. The Z9K currently can't and I doubt it ever will. The Z9K is super bright but doesn't have the best reflection handling where the 900C definitely does very well. I say 900C as it's also the modern TV. No Dolby Vision but Dolby vision is also a mess on Sony right now anyway. Hope this helps
