Hey! In this video I will make some silver rings. As I said on my Instagram, I began to closely study classical jewelry and here are the first meaningful fruits as women's silver rings on your screens. In general, as always, all the secrets of jewelry and my experience are in this video. Happy viewing!

Oh, how I love this!
The craftsmanship and design, melting together, are like a little forever paradise on your finger. 😍💕
The Rings and the Music were made for each other they are both beautiful. (:
Very nice work, finally found someone who saws as erratic as I do.
It looks like something out of Dark Souls
love how you did the vid! the rings are lovely!
Wonderful work! Imagine a matching wrist bangle bracelet? Wow!!
Really nice work 👍 I like the texture of the rings 👏
Looks amazing bud. Great idea!!

Awesome craft and well complimented with music!
Es un vídeo maravilloso de principio a fin, gracias por compartir tu trabajo de una forma tan poética
Loved it. Great ! I learned something from you. Thank you.
That’s sick! Good job!
Incredible job
Beautiful video! ❤👏
Looking good, I've been experimenting with this technique, and reticulation. Both have their own unique look. However somewhat similar
Looks awesome.👌
Not what I expected but they look very beautiful. I thought you were going to take the dust and melt it down to a billet then work it lol.
Oh I so loved the music!!!!
Beautiful
Wow 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 beautiful....and good!
A most unusual texturing technique.
Wow this is cool I just started with this hobby hoping one day I could be great at it!
Otra gran muestra de su habilidad en la creacion de tan hermosas piezas, mis respetos y saludos desde Venezuela.💯👍💯👍👊🤘

C'est un bon artisan et bon courage
excellent!
Well brother I was waiting for a video of you on this boring day thanks
Very nice
you are a wonderful jeweler dude!
nice job ...
it's an interesting way to create that reticulated look.
Very nice ,Curious what type of propane torch are you using and where did you find it?
I’d wear either
That texture would look great on a unisex bangle.
I wish I could afford your rings. Your craft is phenomenal.
Hi, I just checked they are honestly not that expensive if you really want one ! (60 dollars for that amount of work is a bargain!)
@@guillaumeschott4013 which site are you looking at? Because I am seeing 250 and up for his rings
Lovely....thank you for playing relaxing music and letting us hear the tools. So many people play aggravating music and don’t let us hear the tools. Don’t you use flux tho?? For the dust to adhere?
For SS yes but if he is using .999 oor argentium it is not needed.
Okay, I asked about yellow gold on silver and that was a big NO. So my next question is can you do yellow gold on white gold and if so what carrot of each would be needed? I have my 50th Wedding Anniversary coming up in a few months and I would love to make my wife one for our 50th.
What file are you using? The filings look larger/more coarse than what I’m able to achieve. Beautiful work and video.
Your "better than you thought", is my amazing. Wonderful pair of so unusual rings. I really thought it just melt over in globs and look awful, but they are really stunning man. Sub'd.
Wish I could get same ring.
LOVE those. Do you have a website?
just a questions, on straight cuts wouldnt it just be easier to use a shear? save effort and time?
hello and thank you very much for this wonderful sharing of experience, it's just wonderful! I will have 2 or 3 questions about the process when adding the silver filings to the ring. first, do you use borax or flux to help the filings melt? (because the filings in the air to fix well directly without overheating) Second, do you mix that 925/1000 silver filings with weaker silver solder (solder spang) or is it just the 925/1000 silver filings that you collected during manufacturing? thank you in advance;) I love your videos!
I have the same questions. Been toying with this idea for a while.
please take the time to answer ;)
Same here
Very nice work! Yes please could you reply to the questions? Could you use fine silver filings for the texture as it will melt a lower temperature?
@@hilaryboardman7167 fine silver, although softer, it melts at a higher temperature.
Beautiful, and very creative idea. You need to let Sreetips sweep-up after you finish.
Does it work also with copper and copper dust?
Wow! 👏👏👏👏👍
Nice I like that A little weird but I think that's why I like it cause it's different
Enjoyed your video and I gave it a Thumbs Up
Hey bro what size saw blade you using.
Can you make The Claw of Beliar?
Hello where does one get the dust?
And in the dark binds them
Nicely done! Question, is this .925 sterling silver or fine silver? I would not have thought this possible to do with .925 sterling without flux as the obvious carbon oxide building up on the sheet became apparent before you began adding the dust. I’m very curious. Thanks for sharing!!
It's fine silver. Sterling would be discolored by the heat treating.
@@DirtyPlumbus okay, yes!!! That is what I know and understand. Thank you for confirming this.
You can totally do this with sterling! Fusing seeing is a common practice
@@flyingcheff can you do this with argentium silver?
@@DirtyPlumbus I do sterling. With flux and fusing the dust
잘 봤습니다. 솜씨 굳
Very nice peace! Can I get one?
Craftsman!!
wow
Very nice technique. Did you use any flux or solder, or just melted the dust and into the plate?
ı wonder the same. Where is the flux and the solder🙄
Very nice. What is the thing called where you hammer the Ring around for the right fit?
Some call it a "mandrel".
What is the background piece called?
me encanta
太漂亮了!!
Bien hermano estaba esperando un video tuyo en este dia tan aburrido graciaa
Это опилки припоя или основного металла?
Oh, i like this . Would like to see it done with 20k gold too. Very nice!
That is exactly what I'm looking to learn, gold dust on silver. Does anyone have a recommendation?
@@domwynn8414 I suggest contacting Nancy L.T Hamilton, she actually answers questions!!
@@domwynn8414 Looking at Keum-boo technique would help if you need to get some instruction or questions answered.
Pleas make Turgut Alp Axe
🔥🔥
Đơn giản nhưng rất đẹp
So do you think doing it a little bit at a time helps?
Definitely try “layers” of dust. It seems that he skipped a large chunk of video where he added more. I usually pickle, rinse, brass brush and then go back for more texture. The first time I tried I a ton of dust at one time, I blew a bunch of it off my piece! 🤣
Is it possible to purchase some of your jewelry?
It would be very interesting to see how it looks after being hit with liver of sulfur and then polished.
What does liver of sulfur do ?
@@HyperFit_ it basically tarnishes silver. Depending on the concentration and exposure time, you can get a few different colors from light shades yellow, blue, purple to a solid dark black. The piece could then be polished bringing out the silver on the high points and leaving the black in the low points to accentuate the texture.
@@DirtyPlumbus ok that is pretty interesting, and I'm kind of curios of what the ring undergoing this process would look like
@@HyperFit_ here is one example

These are already patinated. That why they are so dark in the last photos.
Sehr geil
Do you sell your rings ?
00:50
Industrial pasta roller
He should make Surters sword from Thor Ragnarok.
Can you solder the ring closed and it still keep that look?
Yes, but the strategy of placing the dust is different with a ring. He could do it with flux but you have to let the flux dry completely and even then when you go to fire, the dust could slip out of place and slide down the ring. See, it's gravity holding it in place when the piece is flat. It can't do that when the ring is sitting on the circle instead of on the flat part. I do granulation and the little balls move when the flux liquifies and you have to shift them back into place. They do better when there is a wire holding them up.
Thank you!
How do the silver filings stick to the ring blank? 5:40
Silver solder ❤filings wire with silver filings
NOICE
Good imagree that rough look works I'd wear it happily
A polished opal contrasting with the roughness would be an interesting addition. 👍
Quero!
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Ты живёшь в Ясенево?
This is a unique channel, that's where Beethoven was born in.
Alguém do Brasil????
Anel 💤💯🔥👌
I want one. 🙁
What tool was that @ 6:55?
Had the same question. Looked at cone burs on jewelry suppliers sites and nothing like this one. I did find this though www.mdsupplies.com/medical-supplies-American-Medicals-Carbide-Bur-Coarse-Large-Cone-81FS5SVZRT.html.
@@pammiepiehoney I use tools like that at my work. We use the to grind steel. But the one in the video looks like it has bristles like a wire wheel
We use those in dentistry, but of course smaller size + smaller tip, called Carbide Drill Burr.
At least with that info we can reach somewhere 😉
